Thank you! Sad that 99% of doctors don’t go into detail about things like this!!! Thankful to Dr. Kuhn, always, for helping me when other doctors kept me in the dark!
It’s not so much that doctors keep us in the dark. It’s that doctors themselves are in the dark. They tend to be very “closed” to new research and discoveries. It takes years for mainstream medicine to finally catch up.
Thank you for this video. I had been to see a rheumatologist because of triggar finger and sore feet. He finally decided that I have osteoarthritis and he knew I was not interested in meds. I told him I wanted to get to the root of the problem to why I had inflammation. He asked why I thought it was inflammation? At that point I knew he was no help. He did say perhaps I could benefit from physiotherapist because I said that I wanted to have pain under control so I could get walking again. Keep up the good work as so many like me find your videos beneficial. I always knew sugars played a role but wasn't sure how.
A low carb diet has been found to reduce inflammation. By focusing on non-starchy fibre rich vegetables, fermented foods, lean protein and healthy fats (omega 3 rich and wholefood forms such as nuts/seeds, Avocados, olives etc), many experience a plethora of benefits across the entire body.
Thanks for your information and thoughtful videos. I recognize that you are trying to keep your message accessible and uplifting, but I don’t think you mentioned reducing sugar or carbs? (I only listened once and was multitasking, so may have missed it). Reducing simple carb intake and reducing insulin secretion would be the best way to reduce insulin resistance.
I've made a summary playlist you may enjoy. Some of it is related to osteoarthritis and others are osteoporosis. But all are diet, lifestyle, supplement and red light related information I've found by trusted and research referenced advise: ruclips.net/p/PLVjWzoXG9xuaFlhfmWyZWgABePnZeyUz8
Have you heard of Hyaluronic injections in the joints ( as opposed to steroid) they 'lubricate' the joint somewhat. I have not had this done myself but just thought I would mention it FYI.

Yes, I agree- topics like this need to be brought into the conversation!

As a physical therapist I am more biased and experienced towards movement but yes sugar intake does play a part for sure.
Thanks. And I am really appreciating your videos and passing them along to my parents!
Your inspiration to move and detail is great.
Can you please share some high intensity exercise videos for knee osteoarthritis?
Thanks so much for the information. Looking forward to doing this.
great!
Thank you for this information 🙏
Glad you liked the information!
Does glucosamine induce insulin resistance or /and raises blood glucose levels?
Thank you great information.
You’re welcome!
I've never heard anyone mention that insulin supports cartilage. Can you link a reference to this info? That'd be great!

Dr jocker and many other nutrition and functional medicine doctors talk about the damage diet can do to the body mainly through chronic inflammation.

This was Great 👍
Glad to hear it!
And there's the Catch 22....... reduce body fat to reverse IR. IR means high levels of insulin. High insulin promotes fat storage. :/
What if you don't have any cartilage left. Dr. told me I have no cartilage left in my knees and right ankle.

If you can move your knees you still have cartilage left.
If you’re considered to be “bone on bone” I’d watch this video. There are still possibilities for relief: ruclips.net/video/9LTDOQx61so/видео.html
