Fab update, I love your enthusiasm for the hobby, isn’t that great both friends are to have babies, it must be a terribly anxious time living n hope month after month into years! I hope your friend is well soon🙏 I enjoyed this video and look forward to the next.. good luck re job too 🍀
Another great video. It was an honor to work with you on the BattleStitch event. I look forward to the Puzzle Event in October. You have definitley made great progress. I will say that Ol'Smokey is my favorite and I look forward to see you progress and finish him.
I think I might have a party when he’s done. I would never have imagined when I started him that he’d take quite this long! Looking forward to October too ❤️
Yay!!! I'm a Semi Sane Stitchers member too!!! Love all the games they have!!! I'm in the Go Stitch chat group too!!! I love your piece by Janelle Nichol, I am stitching Christmas Eve & A Still Morning by her!!! I just finished binge watching Running with Scissors Stitching with Jane & Julie, their episode I Like Cows is my favorite!!!
I love the backgrounds. In so many full Coverage pieces, the background can be a bit boring but with her art, it is an integral part of the whole thing. Thank you for watching and I’ll chat with you over on Go Stitch! ❤️
love your projects! I haven't had any issues so far with tent stitching warping, but I agree it's likely to be a tension issue. I binge watch also! My channel is still very small but I love the community being built on floss tube!
The stitchy games as definitely been in your favour. With tent stitch it does warp your fabric and yes it’s due to tension. However when it’s finished and washed what you can do is block it while it’s drying and that helps to straighten it up. Take care and happy stitching
Thank you. I’d hate to spend months (or years) on a project only to have it warp. I’ve seen it happen on tapestry and it’s very difficult to straighten. I can imagine the framing process would probably help too? I’ll keep persevering with it on one of my HAEDs. I think it’s going to be a while before I have to worry about the problem though 🤣
Wow! That is a lot of progress. What a great idea for the stitchy games. That Woman in a Field of Flowers is now in my cart. It really is a beautiful chart. Glad that you are back running and hope that you are successful in getting the job. Look forward to your next video.
Good morning - from a lovely late summer day in Chicago. I trust this note finds you well. Lovely projects. You gave me "close to a finish" envy on a couple of your projects as I am in the same boat with three of my WIPs. I am going to informally join you in the get a WIP done before it celebrates its 25th anniversary club> This is the case with my "Kimono Row" - a Joan Elliott 1993 pattern for Design Works which I have been working on since November 1999. I am going to make a big push to get it done and framed by this November. Enjoy your spring as I await fall on my side of the pond.
Yes! Do it! And I’d love to see your progress! It does show us though that a WIP will never really grow too old. A wise lady one said to me that keeping them for years doesn’t matter because ‘you don’t have to feed it’ 🤣
Another great flosstube. I too have a pattern that is mostly fractional and back stitches. Right now I'm hating it but I hope to plug along on it. Thanks for the running update. I've been wondering all month about it. Congratulations on your return to running.
Thank you, Susan. It’s so great to be back. I wonder if I should just give up on Musical Muses, but the finished piece is so pretty. I guess we need things to push us out of our comfort zones, right? We’ll just keep plugging away 🤣
Thanks for the shout out! I enjoyed your video. The floss for the stallion on black fabric will be interesting to see how that turns out. Isn’t it amazing how you think it may be greys and whites and it’s completely different. Best wishes to your friend with breast cancer. 💜 ~ elisa

If you do get the chart, come along and join the SAL on Instagram so we can all share our progress. Would love to see your stitching ❤️

Oh! And I also want to stitch the women in the fields. She’s gorgeous! I may not join the SAL, but will join in when I can.
Thank you for watching and I have loved watching all of your videos. You’re a full coverage inspiration!
