Well, you really can't compare them as the real Masterpiece Ratchet is between $180 - $280. If this was a KO of Xtransbots, then sure but, it's not and XTB Ratchet is fairly new. Xtransbots usually will drop in price as well as I've picked up several for 50% - 70% off retail. Fans Toys is a different story as they hardly ever go on sale and even they do, it's only a few dollars.
I would not be surprised to see this on a steep discount several months down the road - especially if the Fanstoys / Fantastic Model versions of Ironhide and Ratchet become available relatively soon.
I was really hoping these figures would be great. Sadly I will have to pass due to that waist joint. Haven’t bought much XTB, last one was Ultra Magnus which is a great figure. I was hoping it would be comparable build quality.
I've seen one guy totally snap his Ratchet at the waist. I think i'm just gonna stick with the official or when FT come out with one. Mind you its got to have to blow my mind to swarp out first.

I'm glad I saw this because x-trans is expensive as heck and you can get mp ratchet ko pretty cheap so this pricepoint of 160+ dollars is insane!

Totally agree - not a fan of the waist area on these figures - definitely a weak point

Yeah, the waist connection is scary on both of these figures if you're not careful

I wholeheartedly agree - I do not like how they did the arms at all - and the feet are typical XTB feet - they don’t do feet too terribly well
