Hey, I’m not the guy but i like to make bass covers and what I usually do is play along to tabs of the song on somthing like songsterr or ill use a metronome and play to the song like that, then I’ll use whatever editing software i got (Logic Pro usually but even somthing like CapCut will work lol) and I’ll just overlay an mp3 of the song with my audio and align it until it’s correctly timed. Hope this helps!
