Very impressive progress, I hope to do as well. I want to check some of my older fallen popular trees and see how thick the bark is. Thank you for your honesty and description of your progress and for your time to share with us. It was helpful and enjoyable. All the best.

Thank you for joining us and for your kind comments! Kindly appreciated! 👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent video. Showing your first examples gives us newbies the determination to carry on and not give up...... Just one thing, you never did explain where your online name Havelock Veterani (if I’ve spelt that right) came from🤔
Absolutely! Thanks for following along!
Thank you for your kind comment! You’re absolutely right! Never give up and keep on carving!
Yeah, me not explaining that has been haunting me since Saturday! 😂
The pseudonym was due to me working in a psychiatric hospital. It’s not advised to publicise your whereabouts on social media due to various risk factors. When I started archery I met new people and wanted to socialise with them, so I created an alias with a character from a book series of my favourite author. Terry Pratchett. Instagram did its weird connectivity stuff and the two were paired. Can’t be bothered to do anything about it. I’d rather carve! 🤷🏻♂️😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
Love it, keep going,Your doing awesome
Thanking you kindly! Glad you enjoyed it! I shall certainly try to keep it up! 👍🏻👍🏻
Great guy. I had to put cc on to follow at first 😎 to keep up lol
😂 If I was speaking in full Glaswegian dialect, it would probably only be (some) Scottish people that could follow without cc! 😂Thanks for joining us! 👍🏻
Thanks for following along! He did a great job!
@@jimnisbet1969 great carvings and inspiration! Gives a hillbilly from Tennessee hope 😎
Thanks Ozzie! Much appreciated. Yeah mate, you can do it! Just grab a knife and have at it! After all, hillbillies have their roots in Scotland, so you’re already on to a winner being of Scottish descent! 😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you that was great teaching new here
