@@mathieumansire372 I haven't tried the drag race jobs yet, I was referring to vanilla gta from mid '22 till the december dlc where with high frames per second I made a track for it and hit 335, mid october of 22 I posted
Played some random races on PH, and man these things are harder then they seem. Really puts in the context how skilled the field is in these races.
Also: this track is extremely fun to both play and watch!
How do you play the random races? Is it only Broughy that hosts them? Or do I just join the racing server and essentially wait? I don't wanna screw anything up or join a race I'm not invited to lol
@@StalinBeWallin anyone with hosting permissions can host a random race on PH, just gotta be on the server when the host decides they want to open a random, there isn't a fixed schedule beyond when Broughy does his streams or on Tuesdays when someone else does a mini-event
@@StalinBeWallinYeah, host has to decide to do a random race which is very rare to see unfortunately. I only participated in one random, they should do a schedule or make it a weekend thing or something

This is an oddly good track to watch! Weirdly entertaining
Even just a 10/15m vid here and there of this track every so often would be cool to see
Now that I think about it, there should be a similar concept with no track pieces going down Chiliad and you can take a few different lines to different checkpoint at the train tunnel or at the base of goldilocks line/og route line.

I think this could be another event style track to do, maybe in future marathons or something that is done more for fun.
It took me too long to realize the sound at the warp checkpoint was just the sound of said checkpoint and not him sharply inhaling and bracing for a massive crash.
Maybe not much fun for you but great fun to watch!
Your first random lap was 200 or 201 in that Can Am racecar
This is the endurace racing 917 (Le Mans e.g.) but they did use it as a basis for a Can-Am car

I rly hope they do away all these boosting quirks for GTA VI & keep the physics simple. Most players ain't got the persistence to learn them for every vehicle & gets unfairly beaten for something that should not have existed in the first place....
How is it unfair if players can't be bothered to learn to do something? The opportunity is there for everyone, there is nothing unfair about this.
Racing with unintended side effects that gives advantages is unfair to those would just want to race normally. It's not so much an opportunity than a nuisance to learn them. Just because it exists doesn't mean it's the morally right thing to do, like the broomstick.
Also, if Broughy doesn't endorse things like wiggle-boosting for the Rumpo C & Brioso R/A or the large rear rimmed Gargoyle for his testing, then why the double standard for the other speed boost physics?
@@NatureXwars cant exactly compare his testing metholodogy with how he wants to race in organised sessions, especially on a track like this one where _the whole point_ is to abuse brakeboosting
Then what's the testing supposed to represent if not the maximum performance with the quirks y'all expecting ppl to know or learn for each vehicle?? Conversely, forfeiting consistency for the boosting advantages seems real scummy & unfair to the less hardcore racers.
And btw, I'm talking in the conext outside of purpose built tracks like this one in the video.
Idk, this track looks awesome for random alls. Also oddly this track reminds me of the race from ready player one, without the hazards of a dinosaur and king kong of course

i have also brake boosted while driving a front wheel drive car the timing is different and i have also brake boosted a bike whilst doing a wheely

I don't know the incident with lenny seems to be a race incident, it seems like broughy changes direction to close to lenny to get out of the way. Then again broughy was probably joking and wasn't really upset

60fps isnt a server rule for broughy sessions, brough runs at 85fps because it means his video and stream quality is good

I hood brake boosting, curb boosting, and wiggle boosting are removed in GTA 6. Such dumb mechanics

@@DiNmiTe It's more I think people are doing work that Rockstar doesn't do, "Truffade Nero sport", well Rockstar doesn't release any more Bugattis in the game besides Nero and Adder should be the most Fast because the fastest production car in the world is the bugatti chiron ss 300+ which reaches 490 kmh where no koengsegg did nor Lamborghini nor Ferrari or Hennessey and ssc, bugatti has the car World's fastest car breaks the 304 mph barrier

I've heard it so many times and some friends do it too but people really don't use the middle finger for R2 and pointy finger for R1? Why? You absolutely just limit yourself, I really don't understand
same reason people use playstation controllers over xbox controllers or vice versa -- its purely personal preference
I can't speak for anyone else but I feel I have better throttle control with my primary pointer finger.
how am I supposed to race on gta online now that the Race Series mode was removed?
select few Rockstar-Created races were removed, custom community made jobs are unaffected
plus this is FiveM, unrelated to the changes :D
@@DiNmiTe I understand this is FiveM but I struggle to find other players whenever I try to join a community made job. Moreover it sucks to not have a quick join button for random races for the average player o queue to.
@@08100181 unfortunately thats the reality of Online, interest in the game is dying so race lobbies are not as full
plus you cant race unknown races anymore on Online since they've just removed them too, probably from a lack of players

I do not like brake boosts. Unintended game mechanic that gives you an advantage over others that simply don't have the knowledge. And it's not like curb boosting that is easy to do and can even be done accidentally.
