XIC Students participate for Team Building Workshop at St. Xavier's villa in Khandala

Students of XIC were taken to St. Xavier’s Villa, Khandala for their team-building workshop.
Each course was allotted select days in the 2nd week of their academic year.
The day was filled with lots of excitement and anticipation as they left the heat and humidity of
Mumbai to be amidst the clouds in Khandala, the misty weather and the occasional drizzles.
The first day ended with a short briefing session, a delicious dinner, some cricket, badminton,
plus fun and dancing. Next day the workshop was led and guided by Amogh Sir and his team
from Outdoor Mantra.
Students were first shuffled and put into four teams. Even though it rained
quite frequently, it did not stop them from participating in all the games. There were five major
games with a few warm up sessions in between. Teams had to strategise and find best ways to
tackle the tasks given to them. At the end of each game, they were given important learnings on
how to handle real life problems in the corporate world, and the importance of teamwork with
emphasis on cooperation and putting the needs of their team first.
By the end of the Khandala trip they got to know each other more and took away with them fond
memories and a delightful box of chikki.
