These were made in Japan and assembled in India then. The 1.25 litre ivtec engine was smooth even after 14 years. I exchanged it for a Taigun after driving it for 5 years. Been using Jazz for 7yrs. Have driven around in city traffic as well as on highways. I differ with you on following: 1. Build quality - cannot fathom how merely assessing door hinges can be a judgement for the "overall build" of the car. Can recount on one occasion when my car banged on the back of tempo at 60kmph, barring a few chips off paint and minor scratches the car handled it very well. 2. Have also driven it to Pandupol, Sariska Tiger Sanctuary where roads are non-existent with a tread suited for SUVs. But the Jazz really impressed on one of the most unforgiving tarmacs. 3. Stability on 100+ is just fine. See overall I cannot co-relate with some YT reviewers. They put forth an impression and share reviews as if their viewership are F1 drivers. My Jazz is 7yrs old, the cars launching these days are much better in terms of safety and build quality. Whoever wants to buy the Jazz - go ahead. Sir, how is the experience as of 2024 for Honda jazz, do you still own. How is the maintenance cost & are the spare parts easily available. Can a 2016 SV or 2017 V petrol variant be considered. SV variant odometer reading is more than 71,000 kms And V variant odometer reading is around 96,000 kms
@@vaibhav_naik @vaibhav_naik I still have it. VX petrol manual. It will be good choice if you looking for practicality. One of the best space in hatch back category even today. 354 L of bootspace largest in category and still 2530mm of wheelbase. Mileage can be an issue. Max you can get in city is 11-12kmpl. I'm in Delhi and heavy traffic and less distance I get 9-10kmpl. But engine is really nice and no nonsense. Very easy and smooth to drive. Service cost I get is 7-10k per year as it has every 6 month schedule. My Skoda has once a year schedule. Spare part availability may be an issue depending upon on which part it is. It's touchscreen infotainment system right now is completely in hang condition it's a issue with 2015-2017 basic Honda Vehicles so just check that if your model has it. You can also go for SV. It has less KM. Because other than aesthetic you won't find any other changes in V. Engine and performance will all be same. For looks etc Rest you can add from outside
My Jazz is 5.5 years old and running is 62k. Have replaced couple of parts. But other than that, a wonderful car.. smooth. Good space. Premium looking.
what i dislike about jazz is the abnormally deep dashboard and the fact that front seats have limited adjustment to go back in order to make space for rear passengers. IDK why honda did that. If you already shrunk the bonnet area why did you waste that space gain in dashboard. Then they also removed magic seats. it really aggravates me when companies (japanese) make such great products but with some glaring flaws which they refuse to fix. Honda, toyota, yamaha and suzuki's 2 wheeler segment are full of such examples.
Hi sir, I am new to driving learnt it in past few months, was looking to purchase a car to practice driving and then occassionally use it short trips on alternate weekends. Had come across two Honda cars: 1. Honda Brio 2012 model V variant 66,000 kms driven single owner asking price is under ₹2 lakhs. As per owner service history is available 2. Honda jazz CVT 2017 model v variant 75,000 kms driven single owner asking price is ₹3.75 lakhs, service history needs to checked. Which would be a better option considering mileage and seating comfort for rear passenger ( senior citizens) to get in & out of the car easily Budget is ₹2.50 lakhs as I think to spend low on cars but can extend if a good car is available
In some features, 2nd Gen Jazz was way ahead of its time.... Jazz VX (top model) had All Black Interiors (no other car in the segment offered it, it was only after 4-5 years that all black interiors became a norm), 60:40 split seats (again no other car or suv was in the competition), magic seats (not found till today in any car), Touch control AC (although not that user friendly, but full marks for the looks). And to add cherry on top, Honda also gave Michelin Tyres in Jazz (but only for first few years).
Dear Sir, I have been driving a 2010 Honda Jazz, around 1 Lakh km driven. If you are ever around Delhi NCR, would be very happy for you to review it as it is excellently maintained, still feels as good as new.
