I’m a long Time Christian from Pasadena. I’m 68. I went to a ethnically diverse Jr. and High School. Also the 70’s were a time of Love. All mixed races loving one another. Those were the days. We are all made in Gods image.🙏🏼💕 I taught my children the same. My daughter in law is black my granddaughter mixed.
Since I don't mean any disrespect but that's not what the scripture says because.
Biblical history proves that there were no different races on the face of the Earth not until the time of the fallen Angels.
Christianity has twisted the scripture so bad until many people believe were all made in the image of the most high that is not true.
The caucasoids DNA is totally different from ours.

I never pledged but I can still relate to when I dedicated my life to certain things and put them before God. And God STILL put breath in my lungs!! Thank you Lord! This was an amazing panel

It's so good to hear these well spoken black men voice their convictions to come out of fraternity life.
I think because many of us saw people who claimed Christian lead inconsistent lives, not that any are perfect, but because of that example we saw, being in a frat or sorority was nothing outrageous because we were never challenged by our elders or peers who said they were Christians to choose God over the world.
And yes it is a choice. Some will say you can't work your salvation, well I believe scripture supports people having fruit from their faith. If you are a believer that you will have good fruit.
I've said this before, I have never felt good about joining a fraternity. Attempted to drop link 2x while on. My spirit said this process is foolishness. But at the time I wondered how I would be treated if I remained on that campus.
Funny enough, I didn't even go to intake interest meeting for my line. I think they (alphas) took me because they were on probation at the time and they needed numbers. They had a previous line that dropped everyone, the next line only crossed one, and they were being watched by Nationals. And I was a biology/pre-med major at the time pledging and staying up to 3 am everynight. SMH.
For any college students thinking of pledging, not even from a spiritual standpoint, don't waste your time staying up and out all times of the night when you should be studying and getting your degree. You can't count the number of "greeks" who either crossed and failed out of school or graduated "barely" and struggle to work in their degree fields AND WISH they had not wasted all of that time PLEDGING.

The disciples continued to cling to their beloved Master with indissoluble affection. And yet their spirits were wrapped in uncertainty and doubt. In their anguish they did not remember the words of Christ alluding to his sufferings and death. If Jesus of Nazareth had been the true Messiah, would they have been thus plunged into sorrow and disappointment? Such was the question that tormented their souls as the Savior rested in the tomb during the hopeless hours of that Sabbath between His death and His resurrection.
Though gloomy sorrow dominated these disciples of Jesus, yet they were not forsaken. The prophet says: "Though I dwell in darkness, the Lord will be my light! [He will bring me to the light; I shall see his righteousness". "Even the darkness does not hide from you, and the night shines as the day: the darkness is to you as the light.
