Hey i have a doubt , you have told earlier that we will use semi colon in the last sentence only but when u have shown the implementation , u have given semi colon after each command after create table , then alter table add column command and then drop column command also . Could u please specify the use of semi colons again and again ? Also please clarify the use of brackets in the syntax of the commands and not using the same brackets in the actual command when we write . How so ? Those brackets thing is really confusing me
When he told earlier it was in the case of create table where u are giving all specifications of the table.The whole thing he wrote there was an entire SQL command.The ; is mandatory when u finish the whole command.Here sir is giving separate commands for each task he performs so he provided ; in each of them in the end.As the create table command is very long and these are short that's where u got confused.Don't worry, just remember that the ; always comes at the end of each command.
