Yes. We did something a bit different on this one, it was what he wanted and it worked extremely well at killing the hot spot. I still loke my adjustable damper, but I will continue to watch how David likes it before adding this new plate to the website. There is a pic in the video. Thanks for asking!
Can you do a video on what sets your fire box baffle plate apart from the competition and theory , you talk about it in the Jefe video I believe when you had a Pitt master run your smoker and recommend changes
This is a different baffle plate then the one you are referring too. This was one that the client wanted. However, it worked really well! My 500s usually have a smaller adjustable baffle. The one you are referring too is for the 1000g smokers! Yes, you bet I will next time I build another 1000g. And I will be staying in touch with David on this plate, obviously his biscuit test went well.
@@pigironpatina985 thanks looking forward to it, will be very informative if you do a video on it. One thing I would like to see how the adjustment plate affect the top rack since alot of times it is forgotten about. Nice work
The more I see your work, The more I want you to build my rig. Great work!
You are killing me. Blessing from NC
Holy smokes. What a pit! Cooking art right there. Love your builds. Until the next one….
My dream in life is to own one of your pits! True masterpiece
Five stars Kyle 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Beautiful work!
Nice pit
Very nice. Are you still putting the adjustable heat defector in between the firebox and cook chamber?

Wooooooooow that's top tier. 🎉🎉🎉😊
Nice
purple loos great. What’s up with the finish on the front, all the spots.
The purple looks great, but why does it look like s _ it? 😂😂
This is patina finish, I paint my chambers, then fabricate. Those are spots where I welded door bracing inside the doors. It's not for everyone!
@@pigironpatina985it's beautiful.
? goúd?
Awesome bruv 👌🏼😋👍🏼..
Thx u 🙌🏽 😤 💀 🍻 ♎️...
Badass!!!
When you do KBS , how does it hold up ? Do you brush/roll/spray??
Sprayed, it's more like a protective coating that's better than wiping linseed oil every cook. It eventually fades away after a year or 2
@@pigironpatina985 hopefully it comes off easier than needing sandblasting
Nice 💯
I have a spare kidney in SC if you wanna make a trade for a build.🤣😬
Go Frogs deep
