Hi! Ive been following your channel for a long time. Thank you so much for creating a lot of contents! I’m just a lil bit skeptical about reading the laws of human nature since a lot of people who reviewed it said it’s all about manipulating people and taking control of them. And it makes you think negatively of people. I would like to know your thoughts about that.
First of all, I want to say thank you very much for following my account for such a long time! Much appreciated. I have also heard the same story from other people about The Laws of Human Nature, but I would have to say that not all of the strategies are negative or manipulative in a negative way. Let's look at it this way, anyone could take a strategy and bend it to their own will, this could be in a positive way or a negative way. The thing that I like about this book the most is that I can understand myself a whole lot better, and help to make the negative things about myself better as well. And if there are people who manipulate the strategies out there, then I can better spot some of the hidden agendas they might have. Albeit a small percentage of people are the ones that will take advantage of you, while the larger percentage are good people. The lessons in this book are valuable for every person who have.
Communication skills is so important, it truly defines your personality, the way u speak, als ur life is less miserable when you convey peolpe well. Sometimes misunderstng occur if not communication, communication is foundation for any relation
@@BookMattic 👋. I plan to read them all. And they are already in my Amazon shopping cart. However, I'm most interested to begin with the Storyteller's Secret then People Skills for Analytical Thinkers 😊
I have not read it, but I know of the person. It'll go on my list and hopefully show up on my channel in some way or another. Thank you very much for the recommendation And if you have any others please do let me know so I can improve the channel.
Talk like Ted by Carmine Gallo is a very well-written book as the author is a journalist so he is writing every single day whereas TED Talks is more of a manual for people that want to build their own speeches. I would go with talk like Ted
Definitely!! All of them could. I've done standalone videos for The Storyteller's Secret and The Laws of Human Nature and 10 Foundations have shown up in other list videos.
Tbh. I'm just a beginner, soo i have no idea what i should start with... Like i really like to learn communucating or expressing my feelings to people by reading books and want to know things better but as i said i am not well versed in reading English. Like im still a beginner.... you have any recommendations for me sir?
The Storyteller’s Secret, and How to Win Friends and Influence People are well written and easy to understand for someone who is still learning how to speak English. Hope that helps.
Thank you for sharing these books recommendations on communication, Matt ! they're helpful and I checked a lot of great reviews on goodreads. Learning communication skills is one of the reasons I started reading non-fiction :) I rarely comment on RUclips Channel. I found your taking notes tips are useful. Fyi, I first know your platform firstly on your RUclips Channel
I'm very glad that my recommendations in this video are helpful! Your reason for starting to read non-fiction books has a really good one. Oh that's cool that you discovered bookmattic through RUclips! I guess that means that it's worth being on every social media platform because you never know who you're going to meet. PS. Thank you very much for taking the time to comment even though you usually don't.
Have been waiting for your recommendation videos. Sir, your recommendations are amazing and your suggestions have helped me a lot while buying books. By the way, the new intro and outro bits are so creative! 👍🏽 If you could suggest one book out of all six for a beginner, which one would it be? This video was much needed! Thanks 💕
Thanks for the great comment! The best book for a beginner from this list would be 10 Foundations, but as I said in the video, it's not specifically a communication book so I would also add People Skills for Analytical Thinkers. I hope this helps, and stay tuned for more!
Of course, you can pick up a book on speaking English well but as you may already know, one of the best ways to improve your English speaking skills is by actually speaking. So, if you can get practical practice, then definitely do so. I have not personally read any of the books recommended if you do a Google search for what's the best book for improving English-speaking skill You will be able to find several recommendations. I recommend starting from there.
I want to offer books that maybe less people have heard of. How to Win Friends and Influence People is a great classic. And it deserves to be on many other people's tops list.

I love the way that you described that. You are absolutely right about these communication skills
The Laws of Human Nature.. your description of why that book is important is spot on 🎯
You and I both know that that is such an amazing book.
Toastmasters really helped me with communication and public speaking 😀. And off course; doing videos every week!
Yeah it was part of Toastmasters for a little while. I know how that can definitely help with communication skills
Great reviews Matt! Haven't read Gallo and Cordano so will check it out.

Reading Pre-suasion right now 😀
Oh cool, what are your thoughts about that book so far?
@@BookMattic it’s still good! I’m rereading it for my book club
Suggest a good book about body language and understand people.
@sombitdas2776 I haven't read any on body language. But understanding people, I would highly recommend The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene
That's so helpful.
Great to hear you found it helpful! Which ones will you read?
