Yes. He was my 2nd favorite driver after Richard Petty. I always liked Mark’s technical style of driving. He didn’t wreck others and always hoped he would have gotten a championship. Anyway, I respected him.
It must be wonderful to be in a position to be able to have a coach like that and have the upgrades done! Mark has earned it and appreciates what he has. Cool guy!
I drove the hill to Indio in a rental RV , all of a sudden , all this makes total sense... when MM sends you a an RV dyno run, you are winning at life.
Happy Saturday Mitchell and Logan! Thank you for building that relationship with Mark Martin, he has always been so humble and truly appreciates every fan. You guys are building your brand right! I am always telling people about how personable your content and channel are. Thanks again!
Hey guys another great video! Seems you spent hours with him documenting his visit. Looking from the outside seems the rest of the industry could of cared less that he was there. So again thank you for spending the time.
I can imagine Mark has a ton of appreciation for the respect and admiration you show to the golden era of the sport. I for one think what you are doing and what Dale Jr are doing to document the history of this sport is the greatest thing going in NASCAR right now. I’m 33 and live on the “old school” videos you put out. Thanks for doing what you’re doing!
I can't wait to see what your Newell will sound like after this inspiration of a man. That's so awesome that he did all that cool stuff to everything that drove. Great video
Another EXCELLENT video presented by Mitchell Stapleton, you have one lucky life to be rubbing elbows with stockcar racing royalty, I live about 40 minutes from Springfield Missouri and the legend of the old race track at the fairgrounds has always intrigued me. Ask Mark about Larry Phillips and his influence on Mark way back in the day. I absolutely LOVE hearing racing stories about the racing in Springfield with Rusty Wallace, the Roper family, Mark, Larry, and everyone else who etched their names at that famous piece of history that NEVER should have been eliminated.
Performance Motor Coach the complete package , looks good and runs good. " I don't want to drag race, just go up a mountain at the speed limit". I am glad you are making so many connections with suppliers and drivers it can only lead to good things.
I own a trucking company and I did heavy haul. With 604hp at my rear wheels, in an open 8 configuration, I would normally have a set of duals spin in west Virginia up grades and I'd have to use the interlock, and that was at 164,000 lbs. I absolutely belive this setup would smoke tires up a mountain at full boost💪💪😎
Any grade with 600hp pulling 164,000lbs quickly makes the tractor feel like it’s powered by a 1.6l Toyota lol (source- daily dragging around a Wirtgen 250 mill on a 4 axle Trail King with a T800/garbage ISX 😂)
Dude this is awesome, I've been here from the early beginning, since when the Earnhardt Newell was released and this is the only channel I haven't gotten bored with and there are always bangers, one after another
I'd hate to see him break something in a burn out....buttttttt... he would find the weak link. Always thought he was the most professional bad ass driver back in the 90s. Wrecks rarely his, always in the hunt, speaks like a gentleman.
'I've been building a 37' 18.5K Class A with a 400 hp 5.9L Turbo 12 valve Cummins turning an Allison 1000, with a tuned stand alone TCM for that same reason. I flat tow a rock crawler 4X4, and go over the mountains a LOT! No slide outs to keep the weight down. With the Limited Slip rear diff geared for the highway it should be a HOOT to drive and I fully expect 13 to 14 mpg because of aerodynamics and HP/ torque..... Lighting up the tires is expected, that's why I had semi truck driveshafts made for it. In fact all the running gear started life in a Freightliner, so no lightweight Duramax stuff in it.
I'm back. Ian beat us up and then i got the virus. Been stuck inside with no power and no internet. Got power back a few days ago. Got internet a few minutes ago. Lots of repairing and rebuilding to do but having internet and being able to watch your videos brings back a feeling of things being normal.
Mark looks great. He looked older than his actual years when he was driving NASCAR, now he looks younger than his years in retirement. Enjoy life! Mark should stop messing around with that puny X15 and swap to a K19. That one's totally badass.
So when I was a kid, my dad worked on RVs. By the time I was 10 I knew more than anything I didn't want to work on them. We live close to table rock lake, and there are many places you can get into trouble just trying to move them around. I can appreciate nice equipment, it's just not for me. Will still give ya a thumbs up, and comment for the algorithm, can't wait to see the Monte, or ol blue, or uncle Rob, or the suburban, whatever comes up next will surely be entertaining.
For being one of the greats that retired, he sure as hell still acts young at heart. Dude still fit as a fiddle and if he wanted to, most likely could still go another handful years if he wanted. What would really cap his career is that elusive daytona 500 nightmare, he said if he ever decide to come back be it full time or selected races that's the one he wants so bad to win and would put the proper closing on his career,
Mark Martin was allways the Real deal back in the Day Racing Nascar all drivers knew they had there hands full when he was on his game. Glad to see him relaxed and enjoying life.
Hey Mitchell and Logan. Another great video with Mark. Not at all surprised he works on his motor coach and collaborates with the engineers at Newell. He is no doubt extremely mechanically inclined with a vast knowledge on how things work after designing and building his own race cars as a teenager. I suspect he gave major input to Jack Roush and Steve Hmiel on how to build that 88 Stroh Light Thunderbird from the ground up and set it up to haul ass. Not surprising they were successful right out of the gate. It seems you've established a great rapport with him. That's way cool. You guys keep up the great work!
Awesome content. Like the dual turbo info, that has some great applications. Great to see Mark still has that competitive mindset and is getting to work with people on making machines run better.
It's real nice to see mark doing stuff first time I seen mark was at monster mile he was in the folgers car back then I saw his potential back then and has never disapointed me as a fan to see this man run with the size of the heart he has dont believe he could disappoint nice to see you back in some kind of form nice coach you have there I got the chills when I saw you in that old 6 car hope to keep seeing you around my friend
Twin turbos, a couple hundred horsepower more than a already standard jacked engine. And the whole engine/ compartment is clean enough to eat off of.. And his roof and his components up there. I remember when I was little kid my dad used to say take care of your equipment, it will take care of you. This is a perfect example of that. 🇺🇸
Great video content! Much appreciated, was at a car show yesterday and day before showing our 52 Jag, so just saw this. Thanks for some techie stuff, all good! Right there with you guys as always. Thank you & Logan for all your work!
I used to work at a Heavy Haul Trucking Company that put the PDI Turbochargers, and Manifolds on all of their Peterbilt 389’s. The Trucks would Run like a R***D Ape!!! After, all of that work!!!
Thanks to Mitchell and his channel. I notice every Newell I pass on the road. But they're always on the opposite side of the highway, lol 😆 I want a closer look dang it.
Another great video! Can't wait to see the 96 get the pdi treatment. I run a few of there products on my semi. They're quality and performance are second to none.

I hope we get to see some in shop builds soon, the suburban and mustang builds. Logan, have you picked out an engine build yet? And will you have a manual trans? 🤔 Thanks again you two. 👍✌🏻🌤 🇨🇦🤘😎.
Great job as always and thanks for the great content. Always interesting and you do a good job asking the questions that we what to know. I stayed to the end for Shelby.♥️🐶👍🏼
Ok. Having a hard time imagining anymore kewl directions y’all could take this channel. A lot here I can relate to, for having -95 Ram Cummins that I’ve tweaked a bit and pull a gooseneck with. So far, I’ve pulled the center out of two clutches and roached the transmission for cleaning out the input gear. But I can pull hills at my cruise speed. Torque management system is now limiting my GVW.😂
That gorgeous paint is created by the Newell team using AkzoNobel Sikkens Automotive Finishes. Those Newell Coaches are by every measure the Top Of The Line!
I love Mark Martin as a driver and just as a great guy overall. Mark is what Nascrap is missing nowadays. I had a chance to work with Mark and Matt Martin for a short time while racing the smaller scale Bandolero cars back in the early 2000’s. I can’t say enough good about Mark and Matt too. I’m not to sure what Mark and Matt are doing nowadays. I wish I had a chance to get together and hangout and talk racing again. Hell I wish I had a chance to do some short track racing with him in some karts or late models.

Mark seems so much more relaxed now that he is done racing. I enjoy his stories and seeing his latest and greatest motorhomes
Couldn't agree more!
They should do a partnership with Mark and create a Mark Martin series of RV's.
Martin is awesome can listen to him talk all day 👍
