- This is very unique to the Philippines! I don't think I have ever heard of there being an underwater SUNKEN CEMETERY anywhere else in the world!?
Back in 1871 a volcanic eruption made a town and cemetery sink into the ocean. Here on Camiguin Island in Mindanao, you can actually swim in it! THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! My Canadian family was so happy to see all the life and beauty underwater here in this part of the Philippines!
Unique, beautiful, slightly scary... and tonnes of fun!
The Sunken Cemetery of Camiguin Island!!

This place in Camiguin is a MUST VISIT. Make sure to pay for snorkelling!!! Not only will you support locals, but you will LOVE IT! Those jellyfish don't sting :)
Although, please don't touch the underwater life :)
Ive been in camiguin lately, nice place to go specially in summer, cold water spring, little fish spa, and the nice foods all over the place. Thanks for the visit kyle in that place. Keep it up

The great thing about Camiguin is that all prices are regulated by the LGU so no overcharging, and all tourist spots are clean and well maintained.
It is a very comfortable place to explore :)
Amazing vdeo Kulas I see nemo over there, wonderful! Njoy lng beautiful camiguin... Tabi Tabi po haha.... Mao na diha!
It was nice to see that again and see the smiles on your Uncle and aunties face, but the thing I noticed the most was the Volcano shot at the very end of the video because you can really see how big the crater is after it erupted, Looks like half of the Mountain blew off so the devastation must have been so Massive, great video bro.
So cool... natural beauty ..underwater ! Your aunt and uncle seemed to enjoy it so much ! Thank you for the video.
We say tabi-tabi po when we pass by a soil mound, a tree, a plant or anything we believe a spirit lives as a sign of respect and for the spirit not to harm us.
Kyle thank you for supporting Mindanao 🙌🏻☺️
well the first time i visited sunken cemetery was 1998 no any fees you just hike down to the beach and swim up to the monument no guides no boat. thanks for sharing cant wait to visit again.

Thanks for sharing Kyle! I love how easygoing and adventurous your Uncle and Aunt are. I hope they're enjoying their time with you in the Philippines. Had to laugh at your being cold, and your Aunt and Uncle saying they didn't feel cold (used to Canadian temps), your Aunt shrugging in her singlet :) Wondering if they've met Therine yet? Would love to see some "Therine Time" (though I still love Kumar! Lol), with your Canadian family. Travel safe! Have a blast :)
Kyle, make sure your aunt and uncle try out the Lanzones in Camiguin; best in the world. Not sure if it's the right season for it though. Too bad they did not see the Lanzones festival.
Well, i'm here to be not with those spirits so tabi-tabi po. Well said, uncle.

That sea snake is so cool. Nice shot. It is the deadliest snake in the whole world. But then it has an attitude of a Filipino, cool if not provoked.
Hello kulas, kumar, ur aunt & ur uncle I'm glad he's feeling better. It's soo beautiful

Nice kulas keep it up more power brod
Don't worry uncle Don, (human) spirits don't take people... we just say that to avoid disturbing them, because they can be easily angered and they might haunt us, but never take us... Enkanto (natural spirits or fae folk) however is a different story...
❤️ Camiguin
WoW, kulas , nice nman 🇵🇭

First couple seconds and a view of sunken cemetery.. Sigh. I miss that place.
Your uncle can blend in just right here in the philippines coz he is superstitious too and i like his humor which is more like you kulas, he can makes us smile without our knowing. 😂😂😂
There is superstitions... writing on the wall!!! Cue song! :)
Kulas collab mung Caloy ba naa man sya diha sa camiguin
Ok kau kulas 👍👍👍👍
I am pretty sure that sunken cemetery wsd included in a local horror movie that I don't remember now. I think it would be both creepy and fascinating for me if I were there.
Kadyot doesn't mean "wait", it means "a very small amount of time", or "a moment"; equivalent to Tagalog "sandali" (Old Tagalog: "isang dali"). The full phrase is actually "Hulat kadyot", literally "wait a moment", which like in English, got shortened to just "Kadyot" ("a moment"). I think it originates from a shortening of the Visayan word for "tiny" - "Dyotay".
Thanks for the whole description :)
In Manila, kadyot may mean different things. I think one of them is "kickstart"..another is sexual intercourse.
@@bouncingbone The sexual intercourse thing is Visayan. LOL. And the root word is not Kadyot, but rather begins with an "i".
@@AngryKittens yeah probably from Visayan tranplants here in Manila. I haven't heard the word used here for years. Maybe last time i heard it was in the late 80s from the homies/tambays in the streets. Lol.
Omg!! Nemo is in Camiguin! : )

Power On! haha
ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES..
?
love ur vlog always kulas
SMILE :)
Amazing Camiguin ❤️
Funny, now that you mention it, kuya Kulas "kadyot"/"kadiyot" and huwat (hulat) are used interchangeably where I'm from... but then again my town, San Juan in So. Leyte was somewhat of a trade route even in ancient times so our dialect is composed of (at least from what I can make out) Boholano, Cebuano, Leyteño and Surigaonon.
Kadjut literally means quick. But when someone says "kajdut lang ha?" then this would mean one moment please or wait a moment.
Some parts of the vid brad i can hear your voice echoed..efx or just naturally came out while taking it?
Kulas your uncle is a funny one , i like him ahaha .
A beautiful video! I really enjoyed this adventure.
Why is it the underwater cemetary ? People are buried at sea or their ashes are put in the water there?
.that is because it's a cemetery way way back, forgot the year. When the volcano erupted, it buried the town that include the cemetery.. .now, its already submerge in the ocean.
😁😁😁
Now I know where to find nemo.andyan ka lang pala nag tango sa pinas Nemo ka.lol🐠🐠🐠🐡🐡🦈🦈🦈🐳🐳🐬🐬

Seasnakes can be deadly right? Thats scary... but i cant deny the beauty of this place...
