UNDERWATER GRAVES IN THE PHILIPPINES!? - Would You Dare Swim Here!?

  • This is very unique to the Philippines! I don't think I have ever heard of there being an underwater SUNKEN CEMETERY anywhere else in the world!?
    Back in 1871 a volcanic eruption made a town and cemetery sink into the ocean. Here on Camiguin Island in Mindanao, you can actually swim in it! THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! My Canadian family was so happy to see all the life and beauty underwater here in this part of the Philippines!
    Unique, beautiful, slightly scary... and tonnes of fun!
    The Sunken Cemetery of Camiguin Island!!

    This place in Camiguin is a MUST VISIT. Make sure to pay for snorkelling!!! Not only will you support locals, but you will LOVE IT! Those jellyfish don't sting :)
    Although, please don't touch the underwater life :)

    It was nice to see that again and see the smiles on your Uncle and aunties face, but the thing I noticed the most was the Volcano shot at the very end of the video because you can really see how big the crater is after it erupted, Looks like half of the Mountain blew off so the devastation must have been so Massive, great video bro.

  • @AngryKittens
    @AngryKittens 5 лет назад +9

    Kadyot doesn't mean "wait", it means "a very small amount of time", or "a moment"; equivalent to Tagalog "sandali" (Old Tagalog: "isang dali"). The full phrase is actually "Hulat kadyot", literally "wait a moment", which like in English, got shortened to just "Kadyot" ("a moment"). I think it originates from a shortening of the Visayan word for "tiny" - "Dyotay".

    • @AngryKittens
      @AngryKittens 5 лет назад +1

      @@bouncingbone The sexual intercourse thing is Visayan. LOL. And the root word is not Kadyot, but rather begins with an "i".

    • @bouncingbone
      @bouncingbone 5 лет назад +1

      @@AngryKittens yeah probably from Visayan tranplants here in Manila. I haven't heard the word used here for years. Maybe last time i heard it was in the late 80s from the homies/tambays in the streets. Lol.
