About 3 years with this rear light and still run perfect, the battery have a good runtime. One trick I do is put some chain oíl or silicone grease on usb port to waterproof it.
Thanks for posting this good review. I am thinking of buying the front and rear set and was wondering how the front strap would fit on a sort of oval handlebar, the bars have the cables wrapper under the grip and the bars themselves are not 100% tubular, do you reckon the strap would keep the light in place?
How well do they appear when the observer is not straight behind the light? Not mentioned here but, truly, a very important aspect of the worth of a light.
Can you turn it on and off without having to cycle through all the different modes? Because that would be really annoying with so many different modes to choose from. So does it remember the mode you were in each time you turn it on and off?
USB charging is nice, as I can charge them when I am out riding & forgot to charge them, as I got battery bank with me at all times, keep it charged, can charge my phone, 1 camera plus more. but good idea to have both types of lights just in case. but prolonged power outage is rare.
4:18 with the Femto light I clipped t to the helmet holder on my evoc backpack, and used strap for added security over the light body, but this will be tricky with this light, but I guess you can use zip ties somehow.
Have a set and they are great but do you find that they discharge really quickly? ie., leave them for a few days and they go flat, my only grip with them. Use them everday at the mo
Anybody else found that the rear light won't fully charge? No matter how many hrs i've had it plugged into the mains, mine won't go past(solid) amber(50%).
I see MTB batteries have similar light, but no bolts, but same features, rubber band looks the same, but I haven't tried Mtb batteries, but not seen much info on those. I am currently looking at lights, cus it's getting dark early now.
Hi Dave, these will get you seen but they are NOT bright enough to light the way. I would suggest one of the larger lezyne front lights and a zecto for the rear. I hope thats helpful :)
TheSpankedOne Thanks for the info, by the sounds of things it wouldn't of been any improvement from what I've got. Have you tried any of these Cree lights that seem to be flooding Ebay? Supposedly they ain't to bad!
Dave H In my experience they are hit and miss. Sometimes they work great other times the batteries fail way to quickly. Our xeccon lights are still holding up very well. I personally dont like risking being plunged into darkness. also don't be drawn in by the crazy lumen figures quoted generally they are BS.
I managed to destroy Femto light's electronics, partly my fault, but that was due to stretched seals, I wish they came with extra seals. at the time I had no way of getting correct seals anyway, would had been nice with size of seals written on packaging, too. but I like the rubber band & hook system, also like the clip so I can clip it to my backpack.

After watching like 5 reviews on this light. You’re the only other person who thought about some grease..
Great lights, thank you. Just bought a set ( and so have a number of riders in our cycling group) and probably the best lights I've bought
As far ass I know thiss is the best price. It's here bit.ly/2m0kp95
Buy the cheapest!

lights can only be appreciated in the dark. Its amazing the amount of people who are doing videos of lights in their homes .
Totally agree. Ive recent started adding beam shots and riding footage to my reviews. Check them out. :)
+John O'Donovan I use lights in the daytime so its sort of a good idea to show them in daylight
Would these be fine on a pannier rack bag? Also would they fit hybrid boardman 8.9?

Hi xdmasson. You don't need to cycle through the modes to turn them off, it's a its a 2sec press and hold for on and off. I hope that helps :)
yes, it's for my road bike (Cube Peloton), yes the bars are only slightly oval and the level reduces as it gets close to the stem. Thanks!
Is that for your road bike? you should be fine if its only a slight oval but if they are aero bars you'll struggle.
Would you recommend this product? I've seen some negative feedback.
I've been happy with mine.

mine don't show any obvious signs of over discharge. It could be worth contacting them about it.
Thnajs will do

Some of my daily commute involves cycling up cycle tracks in the pitch black, are these lights any good for cycling in such conditions?

does it have a nice wide beam?
Did you do a check on the length of time a charge lasts on the front light ...didn't notice a mention?
+David Cunningham Hi there, my zecto's hit their runtimes
Thanks for the review I'll Google for the time
Yep, thanks :). I wish more lights were like this.
the flashes and modes confuse me. The daylight mode has never even got close to 7 hours in use.

thanks going to get some .
Thanks man this helped a lot a gave it a like
Thanks fella, I'm glad I could helps.
cost of this light
Hi Kumar, Can I suggest googling it?
These work best without the aluminium bash ring, much better visibility!
would the strap go around and lock on a tear drop seat post?
yeah it'll be fine
TheSpankedOne Thanks!
Stopped working after only 1 year don't waste your mony.....
How can you do a review on lights and not show them on in the dark. Baffled.!!!!
