Nobody should have to disclaim their weight before showing their body on camera. We should be able to just be ourselves without people commenting or without worrying about what people will say. Kara Keeline reality is the people who do that are really insecure themselves subconsciously and they are projecting. Sad really. Not excusing nastiness but they don't even realize it themselves, half the time if you put them on the spot and ask them why they felt the need to make such a comment they can't really answer with anything other than some stereotypical smartass troll comment to deflect away from not knowing why there are like that. The important thing for people who are subject to people like that, is to ignore them and remember that it's not actually about you but rather about them. You don't have to let them have the kind of control over your emotions to be upset by their nastiness. I know it sounds hard and maybe a little harsh but you don't have to let anyone make you feel any way that you don't want to.
Never thought I would cry watching this, but as soon as you walked out in the outfit & started your "disclaimer" my heart sank a little bit. I've lived most of my life hating my body. Just sayin', I work in retail and clothing items that have the elastic waist bands rip like that not because it doesn't fit exactly, but because it wasn't sewed on properly and it just is a poorly made item. If you ever get something like that again, try giving it a light tug all the way around, sometimes you'll notice it tearing before you try the item on.

Katelyn Michele the models on Wish are the tiniest Asian models probably 5 feet 1 and 80 pounds at most wearing the largest size so it looks huge in photo. If you are over a US size 10, don’t ever get clothes off Wish just stick with everything else they sell which is great in my experience. I bought some Wish items in size 6 XXL and they fit like a small US large. I wear a US plus sized 2. So 6 xxl should be swimming in it but Chinese sizes are not at all the same and even f you can fit the clothing, the arm holes and leg holes etc are sized to the typical Chinese woman and they are slender, have smaller chests and shoulders. It just will not work out

Girl I feel you!! I struggle with my weight and body so much, I hate my body and size. I went from a size 8 to a size 12-16 in Australian sizes, and I hate my body so much. The only okay part I don’t mind is my boobs. But I hate being “fat” and not fitting any clothes I like. I have actually broken down in tears in a change room due to this. I honestly have tried everything to loose the weight and physically can’t due to being on birth control known as the NXT IMPLANON. It’s made it impossible for me to loose weight ☹️😔 I feel you xx
the "rant" about sizing near the end really hit home for me. i'm a pretty chubby girl, and shopping is one the most terrifying things for me. i hate shopping for clothes because nothing that ever looks really good ever fits my body and it's super frustrating to go shopping with thinner friends. my thinner friends will pick something off the rack and it usually fits them. i have to dig and dig and dig to find something that looks good and fits well. i'm honestly dreading going shopping for prom because i know i'm gonna get sad. it's one of the worst feelings to walk out of a store because nothing fits. it's horrible. sorry for my ramble!

If you're not a healthy size maybe if you work at getting to a healthy size you will feel better physically and emotionally. Love yourself no matter what but also strive to love your body enough to keep it healthy amd strong. I say this not knowing what you mean by "chubby". It's about perspective. Sometimes peoples version of chubby is very acceptable and healthy (as per my other comments it's about BMI--not opinion. It's Science/medical) Some people are size 20 and say that is chubby when it is in fact obese and very unhealthy. So again that is why we need to skip peoples opinion and go by BMI and be healthy. If you're not I would suggest you work on it and feel better and enjoy everything life has to offer. With this said tho, love yourself no matter what. Be healthy physically and emotionally and be confident, kind and considerate...that is what makes us beautiful. I am sure you will look beautiful at prom...be confident. It's the most attractive feature anyone can have.

Just sayin', I work in retail and clothing items that have the elastic waist bands rip like that not because it doesn't fit exactly, but because it wasn't sewed on properly and it just is a poorly made item. If you ever get something like that again, try giving it a light tug all the way around, sometimes you'll notice it tearing before you try the item on.

Katelyn Michele the models on Wish are the tiniest Asian models probably 5 feet 1 and 80 pounds at most wearing the largest size so it looks huge in photo. If you are over a US size 10, don’t ever get clothes off Wish just stick with everything else they sell which is great in my experience. I bought some Wish items in size 6 XXL and they fit like a small US large. I wear a US plus sized 2. So 6 xxl should be swimming in it but Chinese sizes are not at all the same and even f you can fit the clothing, the arm holes and leg holes etc are sized to the typical Chinese woman and they are slender, have smaller chests and shoulders. It just will not work out

I struggle with my weight and body so much, I hate my body and size. I went from a size 8 to a size 12-16 in Australian sizes, and I hate my body so much. The only okay part I don’t mind is my boobs. But I hate being “fat” and not fitting any clothes I like. I have actually broken down in tears in a change room due to this. I honestly have tried everything to loose the weight and physically can’t due to being on birth control known as the NXT IMPLANON. It’s made it impossible for me to loose weight ☹️😔

the "rant" about sizing near the end really hit home for me. i'm a pretty chubby girl, and shopping is one the most terrifying things for me. i hate shopping for clothes because nothing that ever looks really good ever fits my body and it's super frustrating to go shopping with thinner friends. my thinner friends will pick something off the rack and it usually fits them. i have to dig and dig and dig to find something that looks good and fits well. i'm honestly dreading going shopping for prom because i know i'm gonna get sad. it's one of the worst feelings to walk out of a store because nothing fits. it's horrible. sorry for my ramble!

tabbie cat Hi Tabbie Cat. Sorry you feel that way. It sucks. Are you a healthy size? If so then the stores you're shopping in are just idiots. If you're not a healthy size maybe if you work at getting to a healthy size you will feel better physically and emotionally. Love yourself no matter what but also strive to love your body enough to keep it healthy amd strong. I say this not knowing what you mean by "chubby". It's about perspective. Sometimes peoples version of chubby is very acceptable and healthy (as per my other comments it's about BMI--not opinion. It's Science/medical) Some people are size 20 and say that is chubby when it is in fact obese and very unhealthy. So again that is why we need to skip peoples opinion and go by BMI and be healthy. If you're not I would suggest you work on it and feel better and enjoy everything life has to offer. With this said tho, love yourself no matter what. Be healthy physically and emotionally and be confident, kind and considerate...that is what makes us beautiful. I am sure you will look beautiful at prom...be confident. It's the most attractive feature anyone can have.
