Thanks for the guide! Some of the shrines are really hidden! I never would have found some of them. I had the hardest time flying the robot like lunar lander. It took me a long time to get through it!
22:15 I'm at the point, but the little guy isn't knocking the rope down so I can use it. It just runs past and now I can't do anything. Is this a bug? Indeed it was, had to restarted the whole chapter as reload checkpoint didn't work, so I was softlocked. Worked this time. Oddly enough when it glitched, the little guy started under the tree and jumped up to where the rope was, but then just ran. Instead of when it works normally, it starts right next to the rope.
At 2:12:56 (I'm playing on the Switch) there's a bit where you have to 'call' Mui and then STOP him in the grass mid-way. I have no idea how to make Mui STOP mid-run anywhere, I have never done it before and even the button that makes Mui dive into the burrow is X not Y, as it appears in the walkthrough. Some please help me. How do you make Mui STOP? B does nothing, he just runs straight to the droid and dies.
Tap B to make Mui stay, then long press it to make him come to you. As you're doing it while he's running, you have to make sure to tap B pretty early, otherwise he won't stop in time and the robot will see him.
Awready found a glitch in dis area when controlling the robot...got it to where i clipped around the out of bounds area and was just going to the right...not really anything special since its iust the background and no real foregroud assets...havent tried going to the left yet to see what that yields 1:36:14

If you restart the checkpoint before you die, it does not count as a death. For example, if an enemy spots you but hasn't yet killed you, or you're mid-way through falling to your death. On Xbox, if you die, force close the game, then restart it and it will still count as 0 deaths as the game doesn't save when you die; only when you reach a checkpoint. The only thing you have to make sure of is that you're starting from a completely fresh save with 0 deaths on it, so you can't use the chapter select option after already completing a game where you died at least once.
Got the 1000 gs. Thanks for the great guide. Honestly did not like the game very much to be honest but as it was so short I still completed it. The gameplay was way too slow, the puzzles were just ok and I absolutely hated Lanas voice. Mui is a cute fellow though
For those who are wondering, I'm guessing the plot gors like this The sun is dying near earth, so they travel across the universe to this new planet with a better sun in which they will fill it with new life(the next generations over) As they approach, something takes them down, a few escape pods get out and they get to the separate parts of the mission, until they realize "we kinda dont have anything" and so they settle down in the separate villages. Meanwhile, because of the pit stops in the universe, the song that tricks the robots has been playing all across the universe, and so they never invade the planet or go near the music, so they kill all hostile creatures and leave all non-hostile for later. One of the ways the robot-army could've heard the music from the caves was the people in the tropics, considering they had what looked like a comms tower. This is the best explanation i can give because im not decoding the in game language and its just the most convenient cause im making this post near midnight
This is my take on it, based on the final shrine: humans evolved on Earth from apes and created humanoid robots and genetically engineered cat-monkey hybrids, which they lived in harmony with. They looked up to the stars and found a habitable planet. Many humans and robots built a spaceship and sent three humans, two robots, three cat-monkeys and a whole heap of embryos on a long journey through space. I assume embyos because the baby has a dotted outline like it isn't fully there yet. The ship jumps from solar system to solar system six times to get to Planet Lana. The embryos have since become school-aged children (shown in the photo) but then the ship crashes on the planet, killing all the adults and the robots (shown in the completed shrine), but some of the children and the cat-monkeys survive in escape pods, with some landing in the desert, some landing in the mountains, some in the forest, and some near lakes. Without the knowledge of humanity the humans become tribals and barely advance past the stone age. The robots arrive after at least two human generations have past, capture the tribals and kill off or capture any hostile lifeforms. At first they tried to capture Lana with stun lightning, but later they try to kill her, possibly after she crushes robots with logs and takes over some of them with her bracelet. The ending shows that the humans and cat-monkeys weren't harmed, they were kept in rooms with a bed and a food dispenser. The hostile animals are turned into green goo, which might be what they're feeding the captured tribals. The robots seem to be looking after the babies, stopping them from crawling away. What the ultimate goal of the robots was isn't shown, but it seems that they were just following their programming, which Lana manages to override using robot commands that are sung, which has been passed down from human to human not knowing what it truly was. The old man in the desert might have even been one of the original spaceship children and was able to write down the whole song, some of the words/tones and a few of their binary translations from his school lessons, which Lana is then able to translate the first line of the song into binary-based tone frequencies to tell the robot that she rides in the desert that she is a friend, and then again after she fights the final boss robot and she is crying over her dead cat-monkey friend Mui, where she sings the whole song and the robots all wake up as friendly to humans.

@@AchievementSquad I've replayed the game from start to finish using the chapter selection starting from the very first level to the end I did die once on chapter 3 so quit to main menu and restarted that chapter and carried on from there and died again on chapter 12 so I quit to main menu and redid the chapter so it over rights the death The point I'm trying to make is that the achievement still didn't unlock so I'm pretty certain clean up after completion once you finished the game does not work I'm having to start a fresh game in a different slot and hopefully that will work After starting a brand new game in a different save slot I played the game from start to finish again I did die once in chapter 12 so quit out of game and replayed chapter and carried on eventually I got the achievement But again thank you for your walkthrough video it helped so much I actually think now I could play the game with my eyes closed after spending 10 -24 hours going for the last 2 achievements
@@heavymetal2120 if you die in a chapter you have to replay the chapter you died easier if you do it straight away By the time you reach the end of the game you have to have all 13 chapters with no deaths for the flawless achievement You can not beat the game and let's say you died in chapter 10 Go back to chapter 10 after beating the game and complete that chapter with no deaths achievement will not unlock Clean up after completion does not work If you do die you CAN dashboard out if your quick enough Or pause the game before you die and reload last checkpoint But if those 2 methods do not work you will have to replay chapter and better if you do it once you die not at the end of the game

You can't use chapter select, to replay chapters that you have died on. This is from a q&a I found on reddit. 2.The one for not dying is the hard one, the other one comes for free when you complete this one. I’m sorry to inform that you have to complete the game with no deaths for either Lana or Mui, getting caught by the Village Chef in the beginning counts as dying. You can’t go back and replay a chapter you already died in, but this might be something we can consider to change if a lot of people think this is too hard. We wanted to create a challenge with this achievement.
Anyone having trouble unlock the new friend achievement? I’ve tried 3 times and still doesn’t unlock where it shows in the video or at the start of chapter 3 before you pat the cat.
Had same issue. After i got to Chapter 3 and pet the Cat no achievement pop. I choice to close the Game once and restart it, after the Sequence end again. I pet the Cat again n the achievement shows up for me. Hope it helps. Good luck
This game has taken me 12 hours to finish, the levels are annoying when you have to repeat them about 4 or 5 times when you keep dying. there were a few chapters that were really bad and still need to run through the last chapter once more for the no dying achievement, I thought I would finish it first as I got killed by the orb at the end.

For the achievement without dying, can you restart the checkpoint just before you die? Does it count as death?
If you restart the checkpoint before you die, it does not count as a death. For example, if an enemy spots you but hasn't yet killed you, or you're mid-way through falling to your death. Im at 1:50 and am stuck. Mui doesn't follow commands anymore, just sits there. It does the sound cue but doesn't react. restarting didn't fix this.

It’s not too bad, you can replay chapters if needed. I died mostly on personal error not due to game difficulty.
