Amazing .....and to think it pretty much started in Fresno , California at Dads Hornet Hobby Park ,along with a track in Chicago and in Oakland , CA . too . I was in a crib when Mom (Bernice Snow ) was cranking screws into the rail track with a ''Yankee'' style screw driver .....oohhhh, the stories . Hornet .60 was king , tether cars doing 110-120 in 1946 + .
LOL, In the UK we use a comma as the separator and read that as 342 thousand, and 28 Km/h - had to do a double take to realise it's actually 342 Km/h.... incredible speed, and to think that you have something that heavy, travelling that fast on the end of a bit of wire !!
Is this the worst tv production Ive ever Not seen? Could be. The cars fly by and there is this giant tv sign on the bottom where maybe we could have seen the cars. But, noooo, you had to leave it there to block the view on top of the fact theyre going at 200 mph! Why not place a go pro at the base of the wire looking out? Also, have you heard of fpv cameras? Look for different angles. Sorry, thumbs down.
Is started out innocent enough a week ago.One recommendation and now I'm watching the finals.

Wow wicked engineering ...is that what they call fly by wire ..incredible Speeds
I wonder who the freaking genius was that decided to record the two guys standing in a booth when the car hit 300km like come on what the hell.

Even a quick look at each of the cars up close would be nice.......
Super!!!
Cool, fast !
Невероятно!
If the guy in the middle slips & falls flat on his face .... what’s the back up plan there ? .
They put him in a casket with wheels and tether him around before burying him for mourning.
212 MPH? 2 1 2 Miles an Hour!!! Never seen this before.......Dizzy Stuff...212MPH?...What???
Фигасе скоростя !)
Does the tether ever break. Surely the guy in the middle is in a very dangerous spot if that wire breaks.
no all others are in danger if the wire breaks the car and the wire fly out. So he has the safest place for this case.
@@johnymnemonic3114 unless your windows around are too bouncy I would choose the place in the middle.
imagine the g-forces
91 Gs is what I read
NINETY ONE Gs.
Extraordinary
No sound?
Just for the first video.
Mach 250 Impressive.
These can go 350 kp/h at best.
I say that becuase it's a fact. Speed is relative.
Not really a spectator sport.
sport ? It's more an hobby than a sport.
