The July 2024 featured apparatus on the ‪@FireandSafetyNJ‬ Calendar project is Engine 805, Independent Fire Co., District #2, East Brunswick, NJ. Delivered in January 2023, this months Behind the Build series focuses on the construction and design features of this Pierce Enforcer engine with a Waterous Midship 2000 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and an onboard Akron Foam Eductor. Boasting a Detroit Diesel DD13 with 505HP, this engine is built for their first due district.
