You can hear the 60 Hz vibration of the generators. awesome! :)

I wanted to fall asleep watching this. It is relaxing! 😉

My works too. Used Avasva handbooks and build it with no problems.

Very cool, what is the name of this dam? All that pressure and not one drop of water is leaking!

What is the distance between "Water up level" and "jenerator level". and also pipeline radius.
    Can u share technical document.
Because I wanna install an electricity generator on pipeline 1600mm diameter and 26 meters up to down.

Where can I get these turbines

What kind of hydro turbin is this? It looks like a propeller within a penstock.

Exactly what it is with controllable pitch guide vanes upstream of the turbine wheel. Elegant design and neat installation.
Where is this located (SW Ontario is a big place), who built the equipment, pressure head and range of flow volume.
      Thanks.

Must be the ones at Welland Canal Locks 1, 2 and 3... It's not DeCew Falls

Adam Vallee Looks like the one of many on the Locks 1-4🤷‍♂️? I would love to see inside the Lock 7 power house.. the one with the Surge Tower? There’s no info online about it..

its a "s" type kaplan turbine

Can you explain more about the S part? It looked like a jet boat's impeller in a duct arrangement to me.

The 'S' is the shape of the big blue pipe. The 'Kaplan' is the blade angles upstream of the turbine wheel can be adjusted. In some places the blade angles on the turbine can also be adjusted.

How much head do you have? Do know who built the turbine?

sir hydroelectricity powerplant me generator dcproduce krta hai ya ac i am cofuse

Ac. Large scale mein hamesha ac he produce hota hai q k ac canbe transported to long distances. Its cheaper to maintain etc compared to dc.

The generator operates at 60 HZ sending synchronizec 3 phase power to the grid. Fairly sophisticated set up.
