My current friendship team is Heizou, Kaeya, Kazuha and Barbara I got c6 Barbara, so I decided to start building her since she seems to love me- The ones I have already with friendship 10 is, on the order I got it, Qiqi, Ayato, Xiao and Diluc
I consider myself a grinder for characters' name cards and I have some more tips to share about friendship exp. 1. Do random events. Search online for the locations of these random events and you can do it up to 10 times a day if you log-out and log back in. Random events give lesser friendship exps than the other ones I'm about to mention but it's better than none. 2. Build the characters you wanna increase friendship exp (optional). Though you really don't need it, I still really recommend it. It gives you more playstyles to experiment on + it makes them usable in domains. If you don't really have time to build them, I recommend to make them at least a high-ish level and use the artifacts of your stronger characters that you don't use. (e.g. I have a level 60 Heizou for friendship exp farming and I used Venti's artifacts since I don't use him that often) 3. Doing co-op gives more friendship exp. You can use this tip more if you do my 2nd tip. You don't really necessarily need a good build with the one who you are farming for. It's also good to rely on your co-op mates but there might be a time where you need your stronger characters to carry. 4. I would like to add from the 3rd tip that co-op in weekly boss domains give the 2nd most friendship exp in Genshin. 5. Build your sereniteapot. The higher your sereniteapot level, the more characters and higher friendship exp you get in the teapot. This gives the most friendship exp when you are lvl 10 in the teapot. 6. Use your friendship team always in commissions. It's okay if all of them are not properly built or leveled-up, just simply use your strongest main dps + 3 characters you want to farm friendship exp with in commissions.
You can also do random events over and over again by logging out and back in. I think one or some give more stuff than others, but can't remember. That'll give some friendship xp as well as other stuff like mora. I think there's a limit of 10 a day

One thing to add is doing plenty of world quests!! You can teleport to certain spots (rocks in front of dawn winery statue o the seven works for me) and log off the game, then log back in to spawn in a world quest. I believe it's 15 times a day and 10 xp each, so a big boost to farming friendship xp :D

You have a lovely voice. Perfect to listen to when following a guide. Finshing a world quest does not provide friendship exp, right? For some reason I suddenly doubt myself. I've already gotten sooo many characters to friendship 10 and while at first I only did it passively with my favorites I would use anyway, since over a year, maybe 2, ive been doing it with dedicated friendship teams. And the downside is, I feel like I'm not using the teams or characters I want to play the most, because I shoe-horn my characters in need of friendship in all the time. Right now I have only Clorinde and Sigewinne to get to lvl 10, Clorinde is almost done, but when Emilie releases she needs it as well. Sometimes adding a new character to a team I like to use works fine, like Sigewinne can replace babs or kokomi is we just look at healing. But sometimes, it's not possible - if I want to use both Clorinde and Sigewinne, then my Chevreuse overload team(s) and Niloubloom teams are out. Sigewinne can't be put in the former, Clorinde not in the latter. I wish friendship exp gain wasn't so incredibly slow tbh. Especially the teapot passive exp, it's nice, but if I have 1-2 characters in there that need exp and everyone else in there is already maxed (because I like to put my faves in there when theres room to spare) it really sucks that the exp for those 6-7 just gets wasted completely. If that would go to the ones who still need it, would be much better. If you only put them in the teapot and don't force yourself to use them all the time in domains, then the gain is really excruciatingly slow. (ofc 'forcing yourself' sounds harsh; they're characters you pulled for, but I have every girl char in the game and thus plenty established teams. I like to stay on top of my collection, but it's hard for some characters to earn a real spot in teams I frequently use. Ofc it happens, but it depends on how much I like them and how well they fit in the team). All that said, I wish I could turn off my perfectionism and just let it go. Friendship doesn't get you much and I probably will never change my namecard again since Yae's little fox namecard is just too cute to ever swap out. And while I keep saying I would like to read all the stories that unlock, I've so far never done it in almost 4 years...

I just level my friendship team (well, I do for everyone) to 70/80 and use them for everything lmao. Tho depending on things, i may swap someone out for more damage or survivability
If you want to get a specific character or two to a higher friendship level even faster, you can join another player. By completing activities while only able to use one or two of your own characters, you can accept the friendship exp unto only those few characters in use. The world level, domain level, and number of players in the game can all cause this to vary. I'm currently leveling Heizou, since everyone else is already max friendship. So, I go to world's that are already nearly full of players and at max world level to help out with comissions and anything else they're willing to run. Essentially, you're able to multiply your friendship income by actually playing with friends.

if you have a lot of time on your hands, then I suggest this tip too. DAILY COMMISIONS: if you have a very strong friendship team, it's recommended to do daily commissons with them. But if you have a weak lvl 20 friendship team, then this is what I do: [1. defeat opponents 0/5-10+ With my friendship team, I would replace one of my friendship characters with one of my most damage dealing solo DPS, for me, it's yoimiya. Once you go to the commission and defeat the opponents, but LEAVE ONE OPPONENT OUT, so for example, it's 7/8 opponents defeated. And quick tip, make it a easy opponent to defeat, for example, if there was 1 abyss mage, 2 sawachurls and 2 hillichurls, it's best to leave out the hillichurl for the last opponent, since they are the weakest opponent out of the group. Then once you leave the one opponent out, run away. Or, if you are near a waypoint, teleport to there. once the opponent is no longer going for you, switch your dps out of the team and put back the friendship character that was replaced, so you now have your full friendship team. Then all you have to do is run back and defeat them. If your characters are still weak, you can replace someone elses artifacts for the meantime and replace them back once your finished. If there is a large body of water nearby them, then you can push them to the water (using charged attacks or claymore.) and it will instantly kill them once you push them far enough. (but you can still use your dps + 3 friendship characters if your friendship team is still very weak.)] [2. Defeat 0/2 hillichurl towers. Like before, replace one of your friendship characters with a dps. then go over and defeat 1 hillichurl tower, then go to the other one and attack it, but DON'T DEFEAT IT. Attack it until it is very low, then just run away and switch out your dps now you have your full friendship team. Then just run back to the commission and finish the tower off. (you can switch out artifacts if your team is still weak or just use 1 DPS + 3 friendship characters)] [3. Defeat a single opponent. Just use one dps and 3 friendship characters, or you can just replace artifacts with a dps! Remind you, the second one is only for if you have a lot of time on your hands.] ----- Tip: Don't level them or waste your resources on your friendship characters if you are not intending to use them anytime soon, if worst comes down, you can just use one dps and 3 friendship characters if it is too time-draining and too annoying. Just remember after you finish a world boss or leyline, switch out your main team for your friendship team and claim it. Tip 2: you can double your commission rewards if another player is in your world, you can do it on claim too but it's a bit more expert to do, so just look it up. Tip 3: Do random events too with the friendship teams each day. You can search it up if you don't know what it is, there is locations that if you do small tasks 10 times (just by doing it, going back to the spot, and relog) You can earn up to 150 commission exp You can look up the locations on yt to find the best one for you and give you a quick tutorial on how to do it. (The konda village one is the best one for me.) Tip 4: It's recommended if you are starting out, to use your most strongest characters in need of friendship exp since it will be easier and you get in the cycle of it by the time you have a weak friendship team and will need to strategize.

Hi I try to answer your questions at the best I can 1 basically explore the map and open chest it the primo sure is small but with farming you'll get there also progress thro story and archon quests and so hangouts and most importantly do daily commissions 2 yes her rerun is in the next patch phase 2 3 you can if you build them very good some 4 stars are really useful and a must build for more damage but eventually you'll get a 5 star on standard banner yes they do more damage but you can progress with 4 stars too it's just a bit slower 4 I'm ar 43 and kinda a new player I didn't use Noelle myself but I know some people do and she's very useful sure you can main anyone you want in this game just build and you're good to go!
1) Not only exploring and doing dailies, but remember to do every event you can! Also do not pull randomly, but plan your pulls. This becomes even more important once you get more characters, but if there's a specific 5-star character you want, save everything for them. 2) Like you were already informed, Ganyu's rerun is right around the corner. She also is a pretty popular character, so there will most likely be another rerun eventually, so if you don't get her now, it's not that hopeless. She was my first 5-star and really carried me in the beginning, so highly recommend her. 3) Absolutely! You will eventually get 5-stars just by pulling, because of the pity system, but it doesn't mean 4-star teams can't clear all of the content if you just build them. 4) Noelle is definitely a good choice for a main DPS, since she isn't that usable as a support. Her shield has too long cool-down for her to be just a shielder, so you want to have her out there doing damage. Certainly recommend investing in her if you like her.

I don't think teapot counts as main source of friendship exp. If you just use teapot friendship exp, it will take somewhere around 200 days to get your characters to friendship 10. If you use all methods available, it can be done in less than month. And you completely forgot about "random events". That's 150 friendship exp per day (10 events, 15 exp each). Probably the easiest is the "friend to animals" event in Inazuma that can be triggered just by logging in at certain place and costs one fowl to finish, no battle required. Look it up, if you want to farm friendship exp, this will add about 50% on top of all the friendship exp you can gain from commissions, teapot, and your daily resin. Just make sure you do the events that give 15 exp, not those that give 10 exp.

I recently got Friendship 10 with Tighnari and Fischl (My first full frienship characters uwu). So I cahnge them in the Teapot for another two caharacters xD
I always get frustrated with friendship in domains, because you can either get no friendship, the normal amount or double. I'm currently only doing them in single player and my kazu is at 9, getting pretty close to max. However, while I was doing domains to get Ayato up, I often had to either not claim or claim and get no exp since someone may also want to use him.. I ran into this a lot more with kazuha, since most people just got him, and my friend also did. I know this is a long rant, but like-. Should it really take this long despite the fact that i get every possible amount of friendship apart from doubling when in co-op?
something i personally do is that, for commissions, i bring 1 properly built character to carry the team (so for example yanfei or xingqiu) & have the other 3 be characters i’m farming friendship for. sometimes even 4 if it’s a commission like destroying the hillichurl towers, since i can do that at a distance so it doesn’t matter if the character isn’t built well. usually i only do this for commissions in liyue or mondstadt bc. well. doing inazuma dailies with only 1 built unit is… maybe not the smartest idea, but (depending on the commission) it’s doable if the other 3 units are half-built, even if they’re not super highly invested in. it _is_ kinda a waste since the friendship exp is going to someone who doesn’t need it but at least it’s a little more exp than if you just switch your teams when you collect the daily commission rewards.
i do this too :') (keqing and kaeya who are fr.10 as my carry while their supports are the ones gaining friendship exp) glad to hear that someone else does it too :D

A tip for people is : Do those mostly in Co-op mode so you get 2x the amount which IS faster.

Like before, replace one of your friendship characters with a dps. then go over and defeat 1 hillichurl tower, then go to the other one and attack it, but DON'T DEFEAT IT. Attack it until it is very low, then just run away and switch out your dps now you have your full friendship team. Then just run back to the commission and finish the tower off.

Just use one dps and 3 friendship characters, or you can just replace artifacts with a dps! Remind you, the second one is only for if you have a lot of time on your hands.]

Tip: Don't level them or waste your resources on your friendship characters if you are not intending to use them anytime soon, if worst comes down, you can just use one dps and 3 friendship characters if it is too time-draining and too annoying. Just remember after you finish a world boss or leyline, switch out your main team for your friendship team and claim it.
Tip 2: you can double your commission rewards if another player is in your world, you can do it on claim too but it's a bit more expert to do, so just look it up.
Tip 3: Do random events too with the friendship teams each day. You can search it up if you don't know what it is, there is locations that if you do small tasks 10 times (just by doing it, going back to the spot, and relog) You can earn up to 150 commission exp You can look up the locations on yt to find the best one for you and give you a quick tutorial on how to do it. (The konda village one is the best one for me.)
Tip 4: It's recommended if you are starting out, to use your most strongest characters in need of friendship exp since it will be easier and you get in the cycle of it by the time you have a weak friendship team and will need to strategize.

1 basically explore the map and open chest it the primo sure is small but with farming you'll get there also progress thro story and archon quests and so hangouts and most importantly do daily commissions
2 yes her rerun is in the next patch phase 2
3 you can if you build them very good some 4 stars are really useful and a must build for more damage but eventually you'll get a 5 star on standard banner yes they do more damage but you can progress with 4 stars too it's just a bit slower
4 I'm ar 43 and kinda a new player I didn't use Noelle myself but I know some people do and she's very useful sure you can main anyone you want in this game just build and you're good to go!

1) Not only exploring and doing dailies, but remember to do every event you can! Also do not pull randomly, but plan your pulls. This becomes even more important once you get more characters, but if there's a specific 5-star character you want, save everything for them.
2) Like you were already informed, Ganyu's rerun is right around the corner. She also is a pretty popular character, so there will most likely be another rerun eventually, so if you don't get her now, it's not that hopeless. She was my first 5-star and really carried me in the beginning, so highly recommend her.
3) Absolutely! You will eventually get 5-stars just by pulling, because of the pity system, but it doesn't mean 4-star teams can't clear all of the content if you just build them.
4) Noelle is definitely a good choice for a main DPS, since she isn't that usable as a support. Her shield has too long cool-down for her to be just a shielder, so you want to have her out there doing damage. Certainly recommend investing in her if you like her.

I don't think teapot counts as main source of friendship exp. If you just use teapot friendship exp, it will take somewhere around 200 days to get your characters to friendship 10. If you use all methods available, it can be done in less than month.
And you completely forgot about "random events". That's 150 friendship exp per day (10 events, 15 exp each). Probably the easiest is the "friend to animals" event in Inazuma that can be triggered just by logging in at certain place and costs one fowl to finish, no battle required. Look it up, if you want to farm friendship exp, this will add about 50% on top of all the friendship exp you can gain from commissions, teapot, and your daily resin. Just make sure you do the events that give 15 exp, not those that give 10 exp.
the friendship exp isnt working anymore :((( i claim my friendship rewards with chars who didnt reach their max yet and their on my party but its still the same.

I recently got Friendship 10 with Tighnari and Fischl (My first full frienship characters uwu). So I cahnge them in the Teapot for another two caharacters xD
I always get frustrated with friendship in domains, because you can either get no friendship, the normal amount or double. I'm currently only doing them in single player and my kazu is at 9, getting pretty close to max. However, while I was doing domains to get Ayato up, I often had to either not claim or claim and get no exp since someone may also want to use him.. I ran into this a lot more with kazuha, since most people just got him, and my friend also did. I know this is a long rant, but like-. Should it really take this long despite the fact that i get every possible amount of friendship apart from doubling when in co-op?

something i personally do is that, for commissions, i bring 1 properly built character to carry the team (so for example yanfei or xingqiu) & have the other 3 be characters i’m farming friendship for. sometimes even 4 if it’s a commission like destroying the hillichurl towers, since i can do that at a distance so it doesn’t matter if the character isn’t built well.
usually i only do this for commissions in liyue or mondstadt bc. well. doing inazuma dailies with only 1 built unit is… maybe not the smartest idea, but (depending on the commission) it’s doable if the other 3 units are half-built, even if they’re not super highly invested in.
it _is_ kinda a waste since the friendship exp is going to someone who doesn’t need it but at least it’s a little more exp than if you just switch your teams when you collect the daily commission rewards.
