I was doing this as a kid 50 years ago and my baseball coach literally slapped me for disrespecting the game. I feel so validated now thanks for your success
I quit playing in high school because in high school the beatings get more severe. I played for a decade but by the time i got to high school it sucked all the joy out of it. It was our team policy that anyone who committed an error in the game or missed a sign stood at the wall of the clubhouse after the game and waited for the coach to slap you in the cheek. The hard slaps didnt bother me as much, it was actually the demeaning mini slaps like five in a row while the coach talks trash to your face while looking down at you that was worse. Practices were 3 to 5 hours a day and 12 hours a day on weekends. If you werent about the life you dont really get it. Thats why the japanese dont break under pressure though so it has its pros dont get me wrong. Anyway i had no stomach for the abuse. I was considered unfit because of i couldnt deal with it. I also hated the idea that my mother was washing clothes for the older teammates that treated you like dirt if you didnt do what they said, no matter how misguided you thought it was. Coaches (and older teammates) were literally gods back then. You dont look your superiors in the eye, no matter how you feel.
you should talk about jaime cevallos he says that what you do gets you disconnected at contact, with your hands too far away from your body and you should kind of arm bar it
Ask anybody to hit while standing on their front side leg… they’d fall😂 Ask anybody to throw while standing only on their back leg… they wouldn’t throw the ball as far at all unless they stood on their front side leg. They’re both rotational movements but rely on different things
The weight is on the rear leg. Of course you need to stand on both legs, but almost all of your weight is on the rear leg. This is not a debate. You have seen the results.
I think you missed the point. The stride shouldn't have an impact on timing. The stride isn't necessary (many.coaches of elite players are ignoring the front foot so long as it doesn't inhibit the timing...even teaching no/very little stride.)
In the stance with a rhythmic back and forth then timing the pitcher by loading back then going forward very short like Ohtani or long like Mantle, but it's all about timing. The batter should be hitting from back to front, never only back. No reason too.@@TheLearningCatalystCoach
@@David-l2l4o interesting...so then show me a clip, literally any clip, of any modern great hitter that shows them finishing forward. Spoiler; you won't. The weight stays middle of body, never EVER over the front foot(as you assert "moving forward"), which is how/why they all finish with 90+% of their weight on the back leg through the swing and after. Do some research on video... we'll be here waiting.
The batter’s weight does not have to be "over the front foot" but his front leg must brace his weight with his back foot usually pointing into the ground or being dragged behind. Tell me where to send the clips. @@TheLearningCatalystCoach
Thank you for taking the time and the years to crack the code, and THANK YOU for sharing with us!
Thanks for Sunday at 1PM. Thanks for signing my propeller bat.

Look at all that torque getting transferred right through Nadal's wrist...
How do I snap the barrel without rolling over ?
Does anyone have contact info for Richard for lessons?
Maybe through his website . Don't know if he has one though.

Was anyone ever advocating this or was just a mistake hitters make?
Acting like much of this is some new found knowledge astounds me.
If the batter is striding too late, start it earlier.
