I've seen hundreds of videos of reactions to this song by Diana Navarro, but I must confess that yours is the second I've seen in its entirety. The first of a vocal coach explaining the effort, the variations, the tones. The analysis you do of the song is impressive. I liked it a lot. In my land, where Diana Navarro was born, we understand saeta and flamenco, the basis on which her voice grew. To make the copla, the saeta, the tonada magical, you have to feel what is being sung. Diana is the best to get it.
There's a legend going 'round that this one-shot video it was recorded at a time with her voice live. Anyway, you can find some live performances of this one and others songs sung by her just as perfect as here. And as far as I know she don't have any voice or musical training: just class, style and 3 lungs. Diana is (I'll dare to say it) a melodic singer with wide experience in Copla (popular, folk Spanish music, mainly Andalusian), Flamenco and Zarzuela (Spanish popular version of Opera). All of them traditional Spanish music.
You missed this entirely. She is singing to her husband on his deathbed. His vision is already fading and is represented by the tunnel vision of the video from its inception. She is at his bedside looking down at him and you see his limited vision of her. He has apparently asked her for forgiveness and this is her response. As she gets stronger and more deliberate in her condemnation his vision of her turns to color and at the end her rhythm becomes syncopated to merge with the sound of the cardiac monitor which then flatlines as he dies unforgiven. This is one of the most original videos ever created not to mention that she wrote this song and the performance , as you have indicated, is spectacular.

Wow Jessica, what a great video, just like we are used to. Diana is a great artist and I'm glad you brought her to your channel as I think she deserves to be known by all your followers. The choice you made is great, and it's the most reacted to video on YT. It's great to have chosen the video with subtitles so that everyone can understand the meaning of her song, and can properly evaluate how her interpretation changes as she says this or that. Something that can be missed by watching a video in bits and pieces is that it is a video shot in one take, which, for me, gives an added value to Diana's performance. One of the things Diana stands out for is her ability to maintain very long phrases, a technique perfected over the years following in the footsteps of a singer from the 50's, Antonio Molina.
