    Great tutorial btw. I had to set the pxs to 25 by 25 for it to work due to the fact that my computer only has 4gb of ram! I also used photo pea to upscale the image to 2790x2460 since, i do not currently have photo shop! Hope this helps the people out there, that have a low end pc like i do!

    • @mymadideas
      @mymadideas  Год назад

      Thank you! Yes that's a great strategy to get past the ram issues. I will try reducing my resolution further myself and might include it in the next tutorial, thank you and great work! And thanks for the reminder, I'll try to remember to show Photopea in the next tutorial too. I actually use it very frequently as I find it more convenient than Photoshop for certain functions. Thanks again 😊

    So what's the best way to find svg's that can be used with inflate? Almost all the ones I try do not have the path outline of the image, just the square kind that can't be used. Is there a trick to search for the right kind?

  • @Bellatrix28

    Great tutorial! Please help: I can't get the objects "ingrained" in the background after the 3D inflate effect. It's like giving a separate 3D effect to the background and a seperate effect to the objects. The object don't ingrain in the background. And I did everything like your tutorial: I grouped the background with the objects before inflating. Please help :(

      Same problem here, did you figure it out?

    • @Bellatrix28
      @Bellatrix28 2 месяца назад +1

      @@samantaerdes7871 Not really because not one creator of these videos is replying. But from my understanding we need to use very simple vectors for these designs (it doesn't inflate vectors with complicated paths) and make sure that your GPU performance is enabled under Edit -> Preferences -> Performance

    • @Bellatrix28

      @@samantaerdes7871 Then again I just saw a 3D design with complicated vectors in it (PNG clipart that they turned into a vector so that they would inflate it) which kinda inflates for them and ingrain themselves in the background. Doesn't look very good but still inflated. My Illustrator just crushes and says it can't be inflated

    Can i make this with Photoshop as well? I don’t have Illustrator

    • @mymadideas
      @mymadideas  Год назад

      Hi, thank you for watching :) I am looking into this as I understand not many people have Illustrator (I don't like the price tag either). I don't use Photoshop as much but I believe you can use the extrude function to inflate single objects and letters. I don't think it's possible to have the object "come out" of the background shape (sorry I don't know how to describe this any better in English) like it's possible in Photoshop. I also believe it's a more "manual" process. I will continue look for alternatives and I will let you know if I find a different method. Hope this helps a little :)

      @@EnlightenedHustlers Sorry to hear you are having issues with the 3d material function. The only suggestion I have is to make sure you select the object or text before trying to use the 3d function. I have forgotten to select the object/text many times and the 3d function was grey and not accessible as you are describing. I hope this helps

    Can I do this with my iPad ?

    • @mymadideas
      @mymadideas  Год назад +1

      Hi 😊 Yes, I believe you should be able to use Adobe Illustrator on the IPad so I assume this should be possible to achieve on an IPad. The only obstacle might be the "rendering" fase as that often crashes my laptop too. If you try I suggest keeping the size of the artboard very small (500x500 pixels or less) and saving the project as an svg file so that you can enlarge it later on in another program without loosing quality. Unfortunately I don't own and IPad so I can't check for you. If you end up trying please let me know how you go 😊 hope this helps a little
