Remember in some of the FIFA games where you just had to walk your defender near the ball and the offensive player would run into you for an easy takeaway? If there is one player who made that look real, it was Rio. Never overcommitted until it was the only option. His sense of spacing was immaculate, he would let you hang yourself with a mediocre touch and was always ready to pounce. Not an overly physical player, in a time where the "hard man" got most of the attention, but he was physical enough to play his game against anyone whether it was the quick darting forward or the big physical target man. Beauty of a player.
