This violinist is very good, I like this song very much. In fact I am trying to play it right now! But I sound like an elephant stepping on a duck. :( Any advice for me?
It's tough to know what is causing your sound to be not what you want, but it's usually the bow. Just practice the bow on open strings every day, aiming for clear, smooth sound, both strong and soft. Practice bowing close to the bridge, and far away from it, almost over the fingerboard to see what different sound quality you can make. Full bows, half bows. Bowing, bowing, bowing.
it's actually not too hard I think. my teacher introduced it to me a couple months ago and now I'll be playing it for my senior recital (if the virus doesn't cancel it). how long have you been playing?

Have you tried it? Unless you’re grade 8 or 10 violin it’s pretty hard, the shifting, etc
