I would not want to pay a deposit if I wanted to look at a watch before considering purchase. If someone comes and gets it before you first that is the risk you take.
So if you pay a deposit, go and look at the watch but don't buy it, is the deposit refunded? I've never heard of paying a deposit just to look at a watch.
You miss the point. The deposit is not to view a watch. A deposit is to hold a watch and take off sale. Also to logistically move it if necessary and quite honestly shows intent to purchase and not a time waster tyre kicker. Something the grey market receives a lot of 😂. All deposits are fully transferrable and are fully refundable if we don’t deliver precisely on our promise. And thankfully most of our real buying customers have no issue with deposits. 🙌🏽
why is it such a big deal if someone doesn’t turn up to take a look at a watch in your show room? I’m an estate agent and people don’t turn up often and yes it’s frustrating but not the end of the world. Would be curious to hear
Like in this situation we get many people saying they are turning up to buy a watch, so we then hold the watch for them and then we never hear from them again, so we then loose money because we could of sold it to someone else like in this situation. Sadly what you don’t get to see as many other traders will also agree there are a lot of time wasters in this business so the deposit confirms and guarantees the watch is yours. I hope this helps! thank you for commenting
@@gmgwatches Then you stimulate a period that you would reserve the watch for ...say 48 hours. You have not lost any money, as you still have the watch , and the next person may not have bought it. There are a lot of time wasters selling watches also.
If someone’s genuinely interested in a watch they will not care to put down a small depo lol. If someone’s a tyre kicker and has no intention of buying a watch then they will care about putting down a small depo. Simple (probably refundable if you don’t purchase). Good move guys, keeps away the time wasters 👍🏽 don’t listen to all the other RUclips comment section watch traders lol…

lol who in their right mind would pay a deposit to see a watch. You dont pay a deposit to view a car or house lol.
Exactly what a stupid system

Subtitles?
Lose 'be deprived of or cease to have or retain (something). Loose 'not firmly or tightly fixed in place; detached or able to be detached'.
Losing, not loosing. Is loosing a word?
