Shahr-e Rey Bazaar belongs to the late Qajar period and is located in Shahr-e Rey, next to the shrine of Hazrat-e Abdolazim.
The Bazaar was built during the Safavid period and was rebuilt during the Qajar period by the order of Amir Kabir.
This place has been one of the centers for selling spices, traditional medicines and commercial goods since ancient times, which were entered by merchants through the Silk Road. This market has a structure consisting of plaster, brick, clay and mud and belongs to Safavid in terms of antiquity (about 500 years ago).
Shahr-e Rey ("City of Ray") or simply Ray is the capital of Ray County in Tehran Province, Iran. Formerly a distinct city, it has now been absorbed into the metropolitan area of Greater Tehran as the 20th district of municipal Tehran, the capital city of the country.
Historically known as Rhages, Rhagae and Arsacia, Ray is the oldest existing city in Tehran Province. In the classical era, it was a prominent city belonging to Media, the political and cultural base of the Medes. Ancient Persian inscriptions and the Avesta (Zoroastrian scriptures), among other sources, attest to the importance of ancient Ray. Ray is mentioned several times in the Apocrypha. It is also shown on the 4th-century Peutinger Map. The city was subject to severe destruction during the medieval invasions by the Arabs, Turks, and Mongols. Its position as a capital city was revived during the reigns of the Buyid Daylamites and the Seljuk Turks. Ray is richer than many other ancient cities in the number of its historical monuments. The Neolithic site of Cheshme-Ali, the reconstructed Median-era Rey Castle, the Parthian-era Rashkan Castle, the Sasanian-era Zoroastrian Fire Temple of Bahram, and the once Zoroastrian and now Islamic Shrine of Bibi Shahrbanu are among the many archaeological sites in Ray.
Ray has been home to many historical figures, including royalty, merchants, scholars and poets. Medieval Persian scholar Rhazes, one of the most important figures in medical science, was from Ray. One of the etymologies proposed for the name of the Radhanites-a group of merchants, some of Jewish origin, who kept open the Eurasian trade routes in the early Middle Ages-links them to Ray.
Ray today has many industries and factories in operation. It is connected via the rapid transit system of Tehran Metro to the rest of Greater Tehran.
بازار شهرری مربوط به اواخر دوره قاجار است و در شهرری، جنب حرم حضرت عبدالعظیم واقع شده و این اثر در تاریخ ۲ اسفند ۱۳۷۶ با شمارهٔ ثبت ۱۹۶۷ به‌عنوان یکی از آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده است.[
بازار شهرری در زمان صفویه ساخته شده است و در زمان قاجاریه به فرمان امیرکبیر بازسازی شده است.
بازار ری یکی از بازارهای تاریخی در شهر ری است. این بازار در شمال آرامگاه شاه عبدالعظیم، بازار ری واقع است. بازار ری متشکل از دو راسته بازار است که در محل تلاقی خود تشکیل یک چهار سوق را می‌دهند. این محل از قدیم‌الایام یکی از مراکز فروش ادویه، داروهای سنتی و کالاهای تجاری بود که توسط بازرگانان از طریق جاده ابریشم وارد ری می‌گردید. این بازار دارای ساختاری متشکل از گچ، آجر، خشت و گل و از نظر قدمت متعلق به صفویه (حدود ۵۰۰ سال پیش) است.

شهر ری دقیقأ نزدیک کدام محله میشه؟ نزدیک چهارراه عباسی؟ یا راه آهن ؟ من بچه که بودم حتمأ شهر ری بودم ولی به نظرم خیلی عوض شده، اگه تونستی به سری هم چهارراه عباسی و میدان راه آهن هم برو که خاطرات تازه کنیم، محل مادر بزرگم بود، مرسی از ویدیو های عالی، دستت درد نکنه
