I like how you used the Sparks to cover for the weakness of poison ammo not penetrating. It's an interesting pairing for sure. Maybe in a future video you could discuss another weapon that pairs well with the Sparks pistol? Say, the Avtomat?
Silent Vetterli is a great pairing, imo. Sparks pistol is great for finishing people off after chip damage from a direction they don't know. You can even run incendiary (who does that) to singe their bars for the sparks followup. But let's be honest, HV and FMJ are much more worth.
This is wild, I just this week picked up the centennial to poison for the halloween event and fell absolutely in love with the poison cent + sparks pistol combo. With poison sense, you can pull off some nutty things. The centennial's velocity really makes a difference in those long range gunfights
I think we've all had those times where brain fog somehow leads to a sort of zen unlocked gameplay potential and then it goes away once you start trying to introduce reason back into your gameplay.
I know some people dislike the questlines and I get it, people don't like being pressured to play in different ways. I personally love them and have found so many new guns and setups I like that I never would have tried. I had some good times with poison centennial and never knew how much I would love the pax claw. I recently switched from the Vetterli silenced to a WinCen as a primary for my new hunters, with a Pax w/ dum dum rounds as a sidearm. Really good jack-of-all-trades loadout.
I've found I really enjoy the Centennial after the buff. Pairing it with a specter compact with flechette is really great for mid to short range combat as a solo. Great vid.
I've recently gained an appreciation for it as well. With fmj it's a monster at mid range and short range with FMJ/levering. Haven't fooled with the sniper much but I'm sure it's at least better now than it used to be

I've always been a fan of the Centennial. 600m/s makes it basically a hitscan weapon for all fights within compounds. Medium ammo makes it psudo-FMJ for penetration against wood. Fire rate can outgun most weapons within the 20-50meter range. Long ammo takes just a tad bit longer to load up and fire a second shot, giving you the advantage. It can still be a capable gun for long range fights, but obviously not as effective as a Lebel or Mosin. This is offset by the cost of the weapon. Iron sights are pretty clean too. Iron Repeater makes this weapon a threat for a variety of ranges. Just, don't be surprised when someone 50m+ range doesn't die to 2 shots from this weapon. Good thing the ammo pool, while smaller than most Winfield variants, can last a long time for that first firefight. My only gripe is the sniper variant. Unless you are a headshot machine, the sniper scope zooms in just a tad-bit too much for my taste. Poison and FMJ seems like paying extra hunt dollars for a downgrade, but that's determined by each hunter's preference of play styles. I also wouldn't recommend breaching boss lairs with this gun, unless you have levering. Even then, the spread is kinda ridiculous for hip-fire. In conclusion, if you want to have a decent, inexpensive gun with fast fire rate to challenge mid-to-long range hunters, I would highly recommend this beauty.

Hey home good job! Excellent work actually. I wanted to mention that when you need to clear concertina wire and don’t have a tool you can punch it with a choke bomb or medkit in a pinch! It was good you held still, you would have totally died to that last piece had you moved
Terminus with sparks pistol is my favorite now when one has levering. You have close range and long range covered, and if you pop someone with the pistol the levering can land those last few points of damage at really good range due to sheer numbers of pellets.

Yeah, I have my primary SSD that holds my OS and games, then I have a separate SSD just for video and I have shadowplay record to that. I find that writing to a different storage device works better. I have the bitrate at max 50 mbs at 1440p 60fps and audio on two separate tracks. I'm playing on an RTX 3080 which has made recording much cleaner than my 2060 used to be

Normally we have a home snacks who plays just daily maybe with no warm up matches and does good, MLG. But give him a day off were he can have some warm up plus, he ascends into MLG Pro Plus.

I never had a problem enjoying this weapon. But my taste is FMJ + FMJ mid ammo pistol, that setup is just wild for me. If they put FMJ on pax or poison, well that will make a very interesting loadout.

Everybody has their off meta guns they just love. While I like the centenial's looks, sound, firerate, and special ammo, I find it suffers from medium ammo syndrome hardest of all medium rifles. If the devs do a slight balance pass over medium ammo im going to be rocking the centennial so much more than I already do.
If you have good aim the centennial is pretty good, amazing velocity for a relatively cheap weapon so headshots are nice. Even the fmj rounds have a high velocity. I usually pair it with either a scottfield swift, pax, or spitfire. I love the centennial.
I wasn't sure about the Winfield till I bought the fear the reaper bundle, used the momento mori skin now I haven't used another rifles since. it feels really clean, its definitely not top of the pile but it is good.
I play hunt for 2-4 hours a day, and have been using the centennial w poison ammo for challenges for the last few days. Idk what you’re doing with it, but every time I use it I get 3 hitmarkers on a hunter 20 yards away. Legit every single time. Im not exaggerating, I could have the drop on someone, hit them in the chest, and hit them 2 more times and they’re still alive. Someone help me understand why this is.
Amazing plays, and the cent is interesting at least, but all this did was remind me why I hate randoms. Either insta dc when they die or sitting in the middle of nowhere for some random reason lol
I still don’t think the centennial makes a ton of sense, the low damage and slower fire rate than the vetterli really leave me wondering why use it in the first place (especially with the sniper scope) but I haven’t played it since the levering buff. Honestly this video convinced me to give it another go, maybe I’ll find that high bullet velocity and accurate levering fire to be worth something now. Unlike many other commenters I haven’t used it for the poison ammo challenge, I’ve instead been running the officer carbine for the first time and got 2 hunters Max upgraded off that weapon, it’s insane!
@@zissoulander yes half terminus, levering is a must in case you don't 1 tap. 2 shots through wood inside buildings usually does the trick. I play 5-6 star, only play duo lobbies never trio (10x more sweaty than your average trio lobby) so can confirm this is viable.
@@akooma3694 Thanks! I'm a big fan of the Terminus with levering, it's what I ran when I wasn't very good at mid-long range aiming. It's still my favorite shotty, though now I sometimes run the half version with slugs. Pairing it with the centennial sounds like a fun, well-rounded build
@@zissoulander I played with some random at 5-6 star and he was running the loadout, I saw sim destroy people with it, copied it and we teamed the next game. I clutched a against the team in the lair after he went down (Cyprus Huts) then killed wiped another duo, 2 other teams were fighting and we just bailed to extract. 3 of my kills were through walls inside the lair with the terminus its a machine of a weapon even the short one. Just make sure you are shooting at point blank range
They REALLY need to put in like a 30 minute penalty cooldown for abandoning matches. Or maybe like twice then you can’t play for 24 hours. It’s ridiculous

Vetterli may be cheaper and offer more variety, but Centennial is a reliable ol' headpopper.
