I’ve started listening to a video to reduce stress. At one point you are supposed to think of an animal that represents calm and relaxation for you. Naturally, I use Maru. There is no animal who is more Zen than my favorite cat. The final stage is to think of the most relaxing image possible. I use laying beside Maru on the white rug, brushing or petting his fur, and listening to his gentle purr. Nothing better than spending time with this box-loving, comical cat, and looking at Maru’s handsome face.
Watching him also makes me connect with that benevolent spitrit within myself, when the world seems too nasty or harsh or Machiavellian or something. Often, friendly animals in general can help me feel this way in all honesty. Something about them reminds me of the real reason we're here... to be cool with each other, loving, silly, explorative, helpful, and less critical, etc. Idk.
I remember the first time I saw Maru jump in a box and I was in love❤️ He is so special. And I’ve loved watching him teach Hana and Miri his ways. Thank you for sharing him and I wish him many more years of health and happiness 🎉💕🐱🥳🎂
