I'm getting a 3/8 gen 1 and a 1/2 gen 2. I don't think I'll ever need 550 lbs for 3/8. I think 250 is perfect. And 550 for the 1/2 inch means I don't need a mid torque anymore
I’ve had mine for about a year and my friends been begging me to buy it from me so I’m just gonna give them a good deal on it and buy the new one win-win because I use it almost every day
I'm never going to throw away my old stubby I love it to death Definitely getting the new one though I can't believe it's SUPPOSED to be that much more powerful
I've chosen! After all these years! I've tried them all! I still have love for my Hitachi 10v impact and the SDS was a beast! But I'm going Milwaukee next
@@techschoiceold Home Depot trick, when they offer a free battery with a purchase of blank. When you return it, you don’t need to bring back the battery.
Me too, I am so pumped to get the new stubbys. 550 breakaway and 400lbs forward?!?! Crazy away job by Milwaukee to crush this. So small and so powerful.
⚠️Milwaukee's parent company is Techtronic Industries, based in Hong Kong. So, while Milwaukee itself is rooted in the United States, it is, in fact, owned by a Chinese company.
Honestly considering selling my big ass 24v Kobalt 1/2” and replacing it with this stubby. It's got 650 break away torque but doesn't fit anywhere we need it to. This will be a game changer if it's actually got 550ft lbs
That M12 stubby is going to destroy the tabs on the batteries. They're already a junk way of holding the battery in, that's going to make it worse. My 1/4 stubby and 3/8 stubby already have me buying new battery tops!
Milwaukee's "Peak Power Output" charts make NO sense. Power is expressed in WATTS. Volts x Amps = Watts 40V, 60V, and 15A may be marketing labels for competitors. But if Milwaukee knows their peak power for an apple-to-apple comparison, then Milwaukee knows their peak WATTS. So, it should state the WATT value for each bar shown in its graph. I have been holding off buying the old stubby in case they released a new one. Did not expect the power gains! I was jsut looking for better lights
Just bought a 3/8 stubby 2 days ago. I’m definitely a little bummed
@@Ferrum_Armory_llc Hope you can return it ☹️

This is Matt .. it’s my fault .. I had my microphone sideways … lesson learned 👍

Yes sir!!!
Good!! I work on heavy equipment, anything stronger is always better, and a stronger/ longer run time .
Yes sir! That is what they are targeting for their new releases!
This is amazing content, we have needed something like this! Keep it up
Thank you! Will do!
Wow just bought my gen 2 stubby in May AFTER WAITING MONTHS FOR THE NEW ONE. GOING TO TRY AND RETURN KEEP MY FREE BATTERY AND GET THE KNEW ONE
Who did you buy it from? They will probably want their battery back.

Appreciate it!
We have motors, motors not engines, that tip the scales at 2200lbs.
For 5K this thing is worth every penny.
Yes it is! We will have them on Pre-Sale soon!
Waiting for the stubby Gen 1 to go on sale and I’ll grab one.
I’m gonna pre order the m12 stubby… in 1/2 and keep my old one 3/8s I’ve been waiting

I really would like to see a milwaukee m18 pressure washer

i aint treating my ol stubby like a us veteran and just throwing it away just because the new new is out
Fair enough, the new version is just going to be used for more applications

@@Ninoo187 ha I've since realized that. It works great on our farm equipment... As long as it fits. The damn thing is 10" long
The new mid torque 18v has to be close to coming out.
Tell Milwaukee to put the switch on the new sander on their ratchets and die grinders. ;-)
We will see what we can do, lol... We don't have that type of power, but we will make a request
