@@TheMapleDude1 Just turned 60. When I ride it’s like being a teenager again. Flashbacks. Of course I don’t ride it like I used to. To worried I’ll break something. Lol
Good stuff. Ijust swapped my 87’ engine into my 92’. The 87’ has MASSIVE intake. Suzuki only ran that intake for one year. Highly sought after motor just for that reason.
Yeah I’ve got a 87 jug on a 88 bottom end. It’s been nothing but headaches between my machinest who fucked up the studs and it just being a complete bitch to get reeds and reed boots for the 87 model.
@@TheMapleDude1 I heard stories that they had to dial down the power after 87 for whatever reason and I’ve also heard that the smaller reed runs better and more efficient. All I do know is my 92 climbs the big sand hill at the dunes faster then my 87 did and they both had similar parts only difference is the 87 had a bills pipe and the 92 has an fmf pipe. Don’t know maybe the fmf pipe would have made the 87 way faster.
I’ve got an all original 1987 LT250R in my garage. Ride it every chance I get. Only owner. Love it.
Awesome, how old are you now?

Why did suzuki NOT keep continuing with that motor/ intake?
@@TheMapleDude1 I’m not sure makes no sense. But if u ever come across a 87’ scoop it up for sure.
