I think what may be happening is that the score count resets back to 00000 after every level once you exceed 99999. However, the total score is still counting up as is in the background, allowing 140k to be achievable. In the older console versions, the score would just stop counting after 99999, but here, the score just keeps going. Total score at the moment is 184,088. Probably would have been a bit higher if certain things had gone right, but it is what it is.
