Inventor as a job?!
"Unfortunately #Inventor is not a job that you can apply for." Marvin loves never-ending projects, building funny storage spaces under every stair that he finds and ... of course: Makerspaces. For him, it's a paradise to create, invent and improve.
Marvin is even part of 2 makerspaces in Berlin. As our laser cutter instructor, he teaches everyone how to use our laser from GS Laser Systems. We visited Marvin Zapf in his own studio at KAOS Berlin, just around the corner in Schöneweide.
Indeed, his studio feels like a playground for makers: automatic self-built door lock, couch corner with the team dog laying around, moody lights, and a table in the corner full of electronic pieces.
"Most of my projects usually involve some sort of 3D printed parts, electronics or mechanical components. My passion always was and still is inventing stuff. I love learning new things and being able to create my world around me." And the best thing about it? You can actually book Marvin for solving your problems and building things :)
