There was a lot of homage to Michael in this video, and it all had his approval. 😊 If you want another good MJ cover, please do Beat It by Fallout Boy.
The only cover better than this AAF cover is the Fallout Boy cover. And John Mayer on the lead guitar with Fallout Boy was EPIC!!! I had no idea he could rip like that! Then I found out Eric Clapton and BB King both gave Mayer their seal of approval.

I've seen so many MJ fans just waiting to hate on this song but they can't and i love it MJ may have been the King of Pop but he had an ear for all music. he loved this cover and he loved every weird Al parody
I used to listen to this on the radio and had no idea this was a MJ song until I saw the video on MTV! Back in the day they actually showed music videos on MTV lol.
I will give you three of my all time favorite cover version of songs 1) Toots & the Maytails Country Roads 2) The Gourds Gin & Juice 3) Metallica Turn the Page
Panic at the Disco covering Bohemian Rhapsody live. Amazing performance. The homage in this video was amazing. The wolf from thriller jumping into a pool. 4 dudes doing the thriller dance. The shiny glove he sits on along with the chimp cuz mj had a chimp. And more. The smoke out of the sewer. I forgot what mj song had it but I know there was one. Great video
I’m usually someone who absolutely hates remakes of epic tunes but I was already a fan of AAF and they killed this. Michael even gave them praise for the remake.
I love your set up. You show more of what you are reacting to than you. Not that the providers aren’t important, but when it’s hard to see what you are reacting to it’s difficult. You have a great view for us viewers.
Some general covers that you'd probably dig are: Careless Whisper by Seether (originally Wham!) Across the Universe by David Bowie (originally The Beatles) Iron Maiden by Trivium (originally Iron Maiden)
I got to see these guys live a few months before this album dropped. They were opening for, I think, Perfect Circle. Anyway, for their last song of their set the lead singer gets up on stage and asks if the crowd likes Michael Jackson. The crowed bood and he yelled, "Well fuck you all I do!"
Leo Moracchioli ( Africa, Hello, Sultans of swing , in my place, county roads, carry on my wayword son) and an absolute ton more but those are my favorites.
Molly Hatchet - "Flirting with Disaster" studio version Molly Hatchet - "Flirting with Disaster" studio version Molly Hatchet - "Flirting with Disaster" studio version Molly Hatchet - "Flirting with Disaster" studio version And so on and so on and so on.....
Rome Life and I have similar musical tastes. We should absolutely be friends. Also, just FYI, there was a period of about 4 months in Southern California when this song was an unescapable party anthem. Anytime alcohol and early 20-somethings got together this song was played at least once.
More covers: Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson Blue Monday by Orgy You Spin Me Round by Dope Sound of Silence by Disturbed Higher Ground by Red Hot Chili Peppers Easy by Faith No More Am I Evil? by Metallica Paranoid by Type O Negative
Bad Wolvez' Zombie cover (original by The Cranberries) is definitely a good shout. Whereas it originally wasn't supposed to be a cover, but rather a cooperation between Bad Wolvez and the lead singer of The Cranberries, it turned into a cover following the sudden death of the lead singer of The Cranberries.
The best all female group "Fanny" doing their version of Marvin Gaye's "Ain't That peculiar". Fanny was an American all-female band, active in the early 1970s. They were one of the first notable rock groups to be made up entirely of women, the third to sign with a major label (after Goldie & the Gingerbreads and the Pleasure Seekers), and the first to release an album on a major label (in 1970).
Thriller, Smooth Criminal, Bad, Beat It, or Billie Jean by Leo Morachioli. Leo metal plates all kind of songs from all genres and he is totally awesome. I enjoyed your reaction to this one as usual.
I thought you were too busy jamming to see all the Easter eggs but at the end you point out you haven't seen many of Michael Jackson's music videos so you don't see the tribute and respect this video gives to Michael Jackson's prior work
Always enjoyed Alien Ant Farm as a kid. Good to see them getting some love. As for covers there are plenty of good ones from famous artists done by other famous artists: UB40 - Red Red Wine (Niel Diamond) Metallica - Whiskey in the Jar (old Irish song made famous by Thin Lizzy) Futureheads - Hounds Of Love (Kate Bush) Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World (David Bowie) Pet Shop Boys - Always On My Mind (Willie Nelson, Elvis Presley etc) Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen) Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You (Dolly Parton) Sinead O’Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U (Prince) The Darkness - Street Spirit (Radiohead)

RIP MJ. Only MJ fans realize all the nods to him they had in this video
Did you know MJ gave permission and he laughed and really loved this version! They’re a Hispanic Punk Rock band! Really enjoyed your video!!!
never focused on the kid dancing like Michael before! TNX, really cool
This was my favorite band in 8th grade lmao, I’m 34 now. I think my favorite from this album was “movies”
Orgy did an awesome cover of Blue Monday but I also love Johnny Cash's Hurt
He's already done Hurt.
Trent Reznor said that after hearing Cash sing his version of Hurt, that it was then Cash's song. He loved it.
Dynamite Hack Boyz in the hood!!
Billy Idol Rebel Yell or White Wedding would be real fun!!!
I like your attitude James!
Marilyn Manson did a great cover of "Tainted Love"
Also Sweet Dreams.
Or Personal Jesus
Tainted Love is a cover in the first place too
The bassist hitting the high note is insane
This was a cool homage to MJ pretty much covered alot of hits in the footage 😎
I've seen so many MJ fans just waiting to hate on this song but they can't and i love it
MJ may have been the King of Pop but he had an ear for all music. he loved this cover and he loved every weird Al parody
Their's No Doubt's cover of Talk Talk's It's my Life
Red Hot Chili Peppers cover of The Ohio Players “Love Rollercoaster” and their cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground.”
Yes!
I can't listen to Love Rollercoaster since I saw Final Destination 3 and also found out the legend behind that song and the scream in it😂😂😂
RHCP's cover of "Higher Ground" is one of my favorite covers, ever.
Yes... you know💯
Higher Ground was amazing! (When the Chillies were good.)🏴🇺🇸♥️
The video of Smooth Criminal is the way for sure!
Marilyn Manson's covers of Tainted Love ( Soft Cell) and Sweet Dreams ( Eurythmics) are EPIC!!!
That was a very positive opening. I like it. It's nice to be told I have value.
Best. Cover. Ever.
There are so many MJ easter eggs in this video!💯 Michael Jackson said it was his favorite cover if any of his songs!
The Bangles did a great cover of Hazy Shade of Winter, a Simon and Garfunkel song.
Lots of Easter eggs from different albums in this tribute. MJ loved it.
this is a great cover for this song happy new year 👍👍
Not a cover, but Fatboy Slims "Weapon of Choice" is a good watch
that's a great video. Don't see many people reacting to Fatboy Slim yet.
That song was my Jam!!! 👍
You are absolutely right lol this really was a good cover. They paid homage to a legend

Small Town Titans....they play alot of covers and do it very well... believe it or not one of them is " you're a mean one Mr Grinch" it's bad ass

Can't go wrong with KIDNEYTHIEVES, favorite song would be Feathers.
Steve Vai "For the Love of God" plz..you will never, ever forget it.
Vai is simply incredible... So upvote and a comment from me. Thanks for bringing him up.
Cake does a great cover of “I Will Survive”
I prefer Me First and the gimme gimmes version. Cake's is good too though.
They did an amazing cover of War Pigs too.
Everyone loved Michael Jackson’s music. It was a pretty good cover with their own twist
😁😁😁 ALL TIME BEST COVER HANDS DOWN!!😁😁😁
If you watch this and then watch Michaels videos, you'll see EVERY omagh they payed to him in this video.
I've got another rock group that I think you would like, Collective Soul, they have a lot of great songs, but you probably want to start with "Shine"
Agree but start with Where the River Flows.
