    Why is 40 twice

      The formula for calculating the volume of a circular tank is:
      Volume = 0.785 x Diameter squared x Depth.
      In the example in the video, the diameter of the tank is 40 feet, with a depth of 25 feet. When you plug those values into the formula, it will look like this:
      Volume = 0.785 x (40 ft)^2 x 25 ft.
      Since the 40 is squared, you will have to multiply 40 by itself: "40 ft x 40 ft"
      I know this question was asked 11 months ago, but hopefully it helps someone else that may have the same question.
