Sorry I’m still watching the video and now posting a new comment: WOW! Just WOW! Chad said you don’t only die to sin, but we die to sickness?! That gives me a great visual! It made me imagine if my physical body was actually dead and my spirit exited my body and was escorted up to be with the Lord. I then sit next to Jesus on high Heavenly places and can zoom down and see my physical body. Not only do I see my physically dead body, but I see in my heart my escape and pardon from every debt to sin and any and all traces of sickness. I’m dead to it all, because I now get to live in my eternal, glorified body as Christ does. And as a bonus, I get ALL these benefits, I get sent BACK to my physical body (which has now been raised from the grave) and I get to live out the truths of what God showed me in Heaven (well, symbolically, because I’m only imagining this.) And having been returned to my resurrected body as a whole person who has been made right with Christ in every area, my life gets to display the goodness of God to others as well which gives them the option to choose to come alive as well. This is AWESOME! THANK YOU for explaining it the way you do.

Wait a minute. I think I got something. He quoted a scripture “A little while longer and the world will no longer see Me, but YOU will see Me.” When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden, they lost sight of God and gained sight of the world. That was back in Genesis. Zooming forward to the New Testament, Jesus (the new Adam sent) came in the flesh and we could gain sight of God again. And as He departs to Heaven it’s as if He’s announcing “Your fleshly eyes will soon not see Me, because your real eyes will open up and see Me for who I really Am.”
