Back when FMX was exiting, and just out and out fun! Now all I see is backflip, backflip, backflip! Just bores the hell out of me! Go back to the old school tricks, and improve on them with better extensions etc!
Yeah, the backflip changed things. Some of these cats just disappeared overnight when the backflip came about. It sucks because they were the first generation. They gave FMX it's personality. They made it entertaining because it was real. We were living it too. We were out in the hills jumping just like these guys, well not JUST like them, but it was the kind of riding that regular dudes were doing back then. Now it's either jock style competition or RUclips videos with lame ass dub step soundtracks. I'm taking my kid to the dunes and teaching him what's up.

In 1999 I saw Xgames. In 2004 I bought a 1999kx125 . Shave seat cut fenders tall bars. I beat the hell out of it. Broke the frame. Hurt myself. Was a hell of a time.
