    I’ve seen son confusing posts of some artists cementing lead came. Personally I don’t see the need but do you do that? Thank you for your very helpful videos. I enjoy watching and learning from them.

      I cement all of my panels over 1 square foot. Lead came definitely needs it for it to last its proper lifetime of 50-80 years. Lead is very soft and stretches and bends as it ages and cement certainly makes a huge impact on that aging process.

      Thank you. I haven’t gone that large yet with my projects and I hope to expand to zinc came eventually but I will try the cement on my lead came larger projects going forward.

      Also, anything that is a barrier from the exterior to the interior needs to have putty applied to be waterproof.
