I appreciate the insane effort you put into benching this, but do you think it's fair game to release a bench in which you don't maintain 100% quickness on your ally?
I just uploaded the with allies log. Quickness uptime on my ally is 95% without me even using my heal mantra properly off cooldown. I'm only casting quickness sources that have an impact on my dps like Quick Mantra and FMW. This has been done for qFB in the last years for every single benchmark. The goal of having an ally stand there is to show DPS with Ashes of the Just, not boon uptime. I don't think every other support benchmark has allies in them, so why would it be different here? I can just calculate the quickness uptime easily without needing to try it on a golem.
@@support-hero it’s certainly a critique of every boon dps benchmark that I have- sure in your case it’s essentially just pressing an instant cast skill off cd to fix it and it does get annoying but technically speaking it’s part of the rotation in my opinion
@@SCNika That's fair. But you answered your question: It is fair game because other benchmarks do the same. I never really thought about it this way. I won't redo this benchmark but I'll try to use Heal Mantra properly in my next qFB benchmark to show the quickness uptime.
@@support-hero i apologize for comming here and only voice this on your benchmark and not on others, but the truth is i don't really watch benchmarks of classes that i do play alot, which is not the case for firebrand so i was curious - keep up the good work
Why is there a significant difference in the number in game, that is generated by the training area I think, and arc dps number? Your logs are 5.9k and 7.3k - or have I missed anything? My numbers for example are 29.2k and 28.7k, which is not much but still a notable difference. How much dps gain is a using scepter? A rough estimate would be sufficient. I like to bring supportive weapons instead e.g. mace, shield, staff and would like to know if it would impact my dps significantly even if the second set is not used at all. On SC website there is this section: "Camp Axe at all times outside of your Tome of Justice, but try to always place Symbol of Punishment before you use Tome of Justice." In case I would swap out the scepter, imagine me using Symbol of Vengeance from the Axe instead.
At the time I was making the benchmark the arcdps version was messed up generating such weird logs. They fixed it shortly after. Using scepter probably allows you to gain about 1.2k DPS+- compared to just axe camp. If you use a different weapon set you could lose more damage than that because you'll be trapped on it for 10 seconds. Especially if you can't access torch 4. If you don't use the 2nd set it will only be +-1.2k
A rotation exists to get the most dps out of your build. Otherwise just follow a priority list as shown on the SC site: snowcrows.com/en/builds/guardian/firebrand/condition-quickness-firebrand
The opener seems very busy. I'm trying to figure out how you are executing it, specifically as you need to spam 2 matras at the same time as doing other things in a very short period of time. I imagine you can press R+T at the same time, maybe even with one finger, although can't imagine it being comfortable over a during of a fight. Do you alternate between pressing matras and the main rotation or are you stretching your other finger to get to 5 while pressing R+T or are you doing this benchmark imaging that movement buttons don't exist? Seems to be pretty difficult to do if any movement at all is involved. I like this build but mantra spam seems extremely awkward.
have same build but with exotic, my BD 40% but just resolutin and there is no quickness, I'm wonder why no quickness? before using firebrand rune there was 80% quickness
you have x9 spiteful infusions in your build link instead of x8 I know that you put them just for example but people can copy it blindly so could you move spiteful infusions from weapons to trinkets/armor?
What if you change to Rune of Scavenging, will the increase in raw stat be more then 7% from Renegade? I am not sure how that 7% is calculated into the final output, but you will get a raw stat of 2006 from Scavenging and 1831 x1.07 = 1956.17 for Renegade.
How much of actual quickness duration do u need? Your BD is 40%. So it's also only 40% for quick duration? Cuz im still using firebrand runes, wanted to figure out how many Vipers i can add instead of ritualist. My BD is about 44%. But quickness duration is 70%~. For now i got full ritu, except weapons are vipers.
Check the description. 33.5% BD is the minimum but I would not recommend that. Be at least at 40% if quickness can't be maintained go up to 50%. By using maintenance oil. Something to consider is that going far above 50% quickness duration means wasting Quickness because you'll give more than 30 seconds of quickness at some point.
Yes, took me a while to figure out this build. I think they didn't expect qFB to gain this much from the mantra change. Can't wait for more core guard nerfs to bring qFB down, so Anet can once again show us the quality of their balance team.
I really enjoy this rotation but I wish we could see tome cooldowns. My suggestion that the highest tome skill cooldown should be displayed instead of the Red tome icon we see currently was never heard. I think it would help a lot with this problem.
I really should make a video where I explain what I'm doing, and maybe one day I will do that. Currently I'm still busy making benchmarks for cWB. Maybe once that's done I can make a video explaining the rotation.

Renegade runes. Otherwise I would have taken Balthazar runes. You need full ritualist for the Boon Duration. If you run Balthazar runes you overcap burning duration by a decent bit

Can I use the Condition Firebrand Build also with Ritualist Gear and will still do more dmg then Viper Gear? And can I use it for PvP/WvW?
No (ritualist trades some condition damage for more boon duration), no (pvp has its own gear setup) and yes.
Do you still remove flame mantra for other utilities or it is purging flame now?
First you remove Flame Mantra, you remove PF last.
So should I aim for full ritualist set then? I’m a lil bit lost now
I linked the build in the description. I hope there won't be any new benchmarks. Sorry for the confusion from yesterday, I just discovered this today.

Creative way to squeeze more dmg out of fbd but I don't recommend playing this variant on most bosses, and especially in average runs
Wait am I missing something? Why do you spend all charges of mantra of potence? Isn't having to cast it again a dps loss?
Well I figured it out myself, can't upkeep quickness otherwise, I didn't think last charges mattered that much

1 expertise infusion to reach 100% burning duration? Or malign more worth it?
+5 Expertise is probably not worth it, as a single +5 Expertise bumps Burning duration from 99.87% to 100.21%. More than half of the +5 is wasted.
@@sneakychopstick Pretty much this. The DPS gain is higher by having another Condi infusion.
