Great review. I've been writing and deleting reddit posts about my feelings about the whole ordeal on and off because I feel like it's redundant but oh well. To me it is really unexcusable to aknowledge that we have rookies, stuff to build in this LoL team, and not see any progress on stage throughout the split. Even overlooking the budget thing (and that's a big overlook), where is the year-long plan? Where is the evidence about it? I'm all for building for rookies, 100%, but all this hears like a bad manager refering to his boss after his shortcomings have blown up and he suddenly takes action.
Also except for Upset-Razork, which shouldn't have been let together imo, the 3 others are rookies. It's hard to lay all the failures on them. Thus, Coaching staff. Again. In the last LiA, Assistant coach was like "We don't talk together about the game, we don't talk together in review; I don't want to work with you if you don't do this and that" It's THEIR. JOB. To set up routines, ESPECIALLY WITH ROOKIES. Wtf are coaches employed for? If anything, that's the only important thing they have to do all year, especially in an understaffed team. I also think Upset was talking about needing to set-up routines late in the split. What were they doing ffs. I also blame Razork and Upset a little for that since they should have the experience to lead the others into this stuff.
Anyway, too long a comment even if lots can be said solely with the info that we have. I'm not as critical of the players choice as of the way the team is managed and more importantly led. It's been hopefull and painfull these last few months. Here's to some success this year, without illusions.
Cheers madscot, keep it up. It's refreshing in these low activity times for the team!
