I have been so looking forward to your new video and it didn't disappoint one bit!! It is totally fabulous. I have copied a lot of your planting scheme over the past two years so my garden, although nowhere near as beautiful as yours, is looking lovely this year, thank you for the inspiration. I shall probably be watching this on a daily basis to gain more ideas, as I did your other videos, until the next one comes out next year hopefully!
Hi thought I would share one area of the garden with you, photo was taken around 3 weeks ago, hope you can see how I took inspiration from your planting scheme. Nowhere near as good as yours, but this area was only planted up a year ago so doing pretty well really 😀.
Hello i live in the East Midlands too (Derby). I have just started this year with some tropical plants. I wondered if you were on messenger/face book if i could ask your advise about starting a tropic garden. If not that's fine, i'll understand.
Hello. I live on the Nottinghamshire Lincolnshire border isn't this a beautiful garden. My advice to you is to look at all of the plant shrub labels to see just how hardy they are. Banana plants are not hardy and will require work to get them through a long frost so look out for tough looking tropical shrubs. Here on the border I can grow hibiscus, spotted laurel, fatsia japonica, black bamboo, I struggle to get cordyline through the winter even when wrapped up but phormium seem tougher , I know they are not in fashion but mahonia give a tropical vibe tucked in behind tracycarpus . Hope that helps. I'd do a ph test on your soil is Derbyshire acidic? You may need to lime if so but rhododendron and azaleas can lend themselves to a tropical look. Sorry about my spelling .
Your garden is gorgeous. Mine is tiny but I’m doing the best I can. I have one side for tropical plants and my husband has the other side for vegetables. Thank you so much for replying
Awesome thabks for sharing
Everything looks fantastic. Looking forward to seeing this garden mature.
Wow! Gorgeous! My hands itches when I saw those dead leaves on your yucca 😅
I like the dead leaves on the cordyline ( it’s not a yucca ). I see beauty in everything.
I don't believe that it's UK. Awesome.
