      Transformer basically work on the principal of mutual induction so if we apply the DC voltage than there will be no change in magnitic flux linkage ith secondary coil so there is no more induce current in secondary coil so it would be no more transformer

      It works on the fact that a changing electric field produces a changing magnetic field, and vice versa. This means that you need a changing field to transfer power in a transformer. A pure dc does not have any other component. So, you cannot transfer power in a transformer with pure dc.
