    In the first sentence جربها ممكن تعجبك, if we don't know what we are taking about specifically why is it in the feminine؟

    • @HijaziArabic101
      @HijaziArabic101  9 месяцев назад +3

      شاورما ، كنافة ، ملوخية ، بسبوسة …
      Because most food names are feminine, it’s more likely that you will say it in the feminine form.

    Shouldn't the sound 'e' or 'i' be used before verbs that start with an alif?
    For example, Shouldn't it be ihjaz lee muva'id instead of ahjuz lee muva'id when pronouncing احجز لي موعد
    Please correct me if I'm wrong.

      @@donfrancis1246 The transliteration reflects the pronunciation of my dialect (Urban Hijazi) and rules you learned from MSA might not apply 😄 it’s pronounce ahjuz.

    When you speak quickly does the prohibitive لا fuse with the verb that comes after?

    • @HijaziArabic101
      @HijaziArabic101  5 месяцев назад +1

      No. It’s always pronounced like a long laa. But with some verbs where the initial ti is reduced to “t” it might sound like “laat sawwi” لا تسوي

      @@HijaziArabic101 do we have to put the ح on the verb to make the negative future tense or can we just leave it as the present
