Thank you. This just saved me so much time and a big headache as I acclimate to Storyline. My first inclination was to design in PPT first, but it was a heavily animated idea concept that would not have formatted property upon export.
Great tips. Thank you. Am currently vacillating between whether its worth to pre build in Powerpoint or Adobe XD or just work from sketches in Storyline. Still not sure what to go for... but there were some helpful tips in this excellent tutorial.
Managed to import ppt slides however can only be seen in preview not on main slides plus doesnt seem to like any fonts, Tried to add survey question that didnt work either not impressed
Hi has this issue been resolved or is there some kind of workaround. Unfortunately I tooo cannot import any slides from powerpoint. I would not say it is a scam because it does seem to work for others but not all. Thanks
... Oh, this is the error message I get "Failed to import Powerpoint presentation. The presentation ".....pptx" could not be imported. Find out why here"
I can't get Articulate to import ANT PowerPoint slides. I even tried to import a single slide with only 2 small objects and no transitions or animations. Nada. I tried all of the suggested tips here, and the suggestions on the Articulate help pages, updated Office, etc., and NOTHING works. It looks like everyone else has the same issue, as well, so I have to assume that this is a scam, and just doesn't work.
Mary Jo MacPherson I don’t know if I’d call it a scam. I’ve been using Storyline for years and have imported countless PowerPoint decks. If you can, describe what you mean by “ANT PowerPoint slides?” Perhaps you mean any? If so, is Storyline giving you an error message? If so, what? I’m happy to help if you can provide additional info. Thx!
Great tips! Thanks, Tim!
Sonia James Thanks!
