Sorry I didn't give credit. I wanted the video to be my best I could do and unfortunately forgot. Thank you for the complements! Love to watch your videos, keep up the good work!
Absolutely wonderful. When I was around eight years old I first learned about Casey Jones and ever since then I have performed his song in front of people to keep his memory alive. This video will help all of us greatly to remember Casey Jones. Casey Jones mounted to the cabin and took his farewell trip to the promised land🚂 🎶🎶
Casey Jones might've been "reckless", but he did it under the principle that he will not make the passengers late when possible. Always running "reckless" to make up for lost time. And despite all his "recklessness", no one was ever seriously hurt or died when he was operating.
It would be so awesome if hollywood would make movies about some of thes iconic American legends using the CGI and special effects of modern times. These true to life men & women that forged this nation through bravery, blood, sweat, tears & all too commonly death, is what our youth need to be made aware of instead of some bullshit marvel comic fantasy..
8:41-9:06 I love the 1950 Disney adaptation of Casey Jones, especially the engine that he drives is a 4-4-0 (Similar to a #173 of the Central pacific) with a No. 2 which is frequently known as Johnny. However, I think the 1950 version of Casey Jones survived the wreckage (Even though his real life counterpart had died) should be known as Casey Jones 2.0. What do you think?
After the sale to the Mexican Government, there wasn’t anymore information on the locomotive. If you do know what happened to 638, let me know. Because I would like to redo this video and remaster it.
I understand they was going about 70 at the time they saw the red light ahead of them. some how Jones reduced the speed of the train which crashed into the back of the goods train going about 35 miles a hour
Great documentary however one part is inaccurate the part about 382 is not exactly correct the only time he ran 382 was the night of his death other than that good story
638, in Mexico at the time, was deemed not worthy for preservation by the Mexican Government. As far as I know, there was no attempt by any one in the US to purchase 638 and bring her back to America.
I did not plagiarize Thunderbolt 1000 Siren Productions video on Casey Jones. When researching Casey Jones, I did extract information from Thunderbolt's video, but I added more to the story like how Casey Jones liked baseball.
I despise trolls that go on the comments section to make it about them and not the work and effort that went into a video. However, this documentary is too similar to the one that has been referenced as the original source. Just by saying, "Hey CJ loved playing baseball does not create an original piece." Nontheless, it was an interesting documentary.
Very well done! I was shocked when I saw a clip of my video in there! A pleasant surprise to see it gain recognition!

Thank you!
@@TrainGuru I re searched him some years ago after learning about the tv series. I learned his normal engine was a similar engine to 382.
R.I.P Casey Jones 1863 - 1900
Casey Jones was killed in the rear end collision on April 30th, 1900 at age of 37.
Thanks for all the period films. OK, they're mostly other railroads, but they are just great.
Thank you so much!!
A real Legend.
A real legend he is.

I agree.
SHE LIVES THE CASEY JONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe it's debatable when 638 was retired/scrapped

@@TrainGuru I said it's debatable; many argue about when it was retired and scrapped. But it was scrapped.
I have a few railroad spikes off the tracks in Vaughn Mississippi

Who pulled Casey from the wreck
Nobody knows...

However His Grave Stone Shows 1864 The Wrong Birth Date On His Stone It Is Supposed To Put 1863
9:23 Also Funny Joke :D
10:22 Thomas stole Dream Island

Why was 638 scrapped

16:43 what's that steam engine
Good question, Southern Pacific 841, an 0-6-0 Switcher built in March 1924 by the Lima Locomotive Works.
7:17 it's a 4-6-0 not a 3-6-0
Yeah, that was a really big blunder of mine... When I get the chance, I will remaster my Casey Jones video.
This looks a lot like plagiarism of this:
