Rebecca .. finally I know your name.. lol.. I was always obsessed with Hitchcock and old films from hammer house of horrors..so Sasha Grahams decks are wonderful. I wasn't aware of the videos you linked, I will definitely look at those as I love learning creators motivation for designing cards. I dont connect with Thoth either 🤷♀️ I love the greek myths too but you have a massive knowledge base 😅 Really enjoyed listening to you 😊❤
Haha, I think it's the first time I've mentioned my name on here. Yeah, those Sasha Graham videos are definitely worth watching! Glad I'm not alone with Thoth, using it was not fun for me. Thanks for watching, always nice to hear from you 💛
I love my dark wood tarot too. The living tarot book is full of great ideas. Do you think you had a past life? If so, what was it? I got the book, Why has nobody told me this before? For me, it is a good reference book to dip in and out of. I agree with going deeper. I feel that is hard if I have too many decks. I am a INFP. 😉 ❤️
Oh cool! I hope it's useful to you and you didn't waste your money 🤣. I'm not sure if I had a past life! It's one of those areas I'm undecided on... 🤔 I do kind of believe in transmigration of the soul so maybe?! If I've had one I was probably just some poor plebian peasant 🤣. Love INFPs! 💛
I am so happy you did this tag and I so much enjoyed hearing your responses! My sister and I were obsessed with the film Rebecca in our adolescence, and would toss quotes out to each other often 😂 I was also obsessed with Alfred Hitchcock films. I really love seeing the Haunted House Tarot (don't have it, but perhaps in the future!). I am intrigued by your practice of reading Tarot through a storytelling lens. Do you have a video on that? After hearing about you discuss Living Tarot, I may have to get it! Also am adding Chaos Protocols to my reading list. So helpful to hear about folk's experience with books. My daily draws are currently three card spreads, so really appreciated hearing yours...I am taking notes! Loved your advice about going deeper and ideas on getting creative. This is such a great tag, I am loving hearing about different resources for inspiration, and ways of using the cards! Thank you for doing this tag, I thoroughly enjoyed your offerings! ❤😊
Thank you for watching and commenting! 💛 Very cool that you and your sister threw gothic film quotes at each other! 🤣 Tarot of the Haunted House is really great, if you ever buy it I definitely recommend the video guidebook series Sasha Graham posted on her RUclips channel! I don't have a video about tarot storytelling style reading, but it's pretty straightforward. Basically, it's just telling a story based off the spread that communicates the meaning. I also like to situate the 'story' of where I am (I read for myself) within larger mythic cycles of the Hero's Journey (theory/book by Joseph Campbell which is the basis for a lot of fiction). I'd probably start by saying 'once upon a time...' If that makes sense! 🤣 I think Sasha Graham talks about a similar technique in her books. Yes, love a good book recommendation! Hope you enjoy them! I did see you did this tag as well the other day, which is on my watch later playlist so I look forward to your answers 😁.
