The square port is a Dutton and the chain is a Paul Petska. The correctional port can be found by many bit makers.
That is correct!
When my fly spay breaks I sometimes put a small bit of it on a towl and just rub it on their legs and wherever else.
If the fly sprayer doesn't quit working the plastic gets cracked lol. I like the chain bit... I use a Blessing chain bit pretty similar to the Petska you have. Another great video
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I buy my fly spray in the bulk gallons and put them in a weed sprayer(unused of course, no weed killer in them) and spray my fly spray thru there! Works really well
Yeah that’s what we are starting to do too!
I use a Smooth 1 by 2 Twisted bit by Walt woodard
I use a chain bit similar just shorter shanked. I have ridden him in a 3 piece ported but he isn’t quite ready for it. Also one of my favourite bits is a 3 piece O-ring for schooling rides.
Love it!
Bronco fly spray never breaks on me it works really good
Good to know
Well done, good job, valuable information. Thx for sharing.
Anytime! Thanks for watching!
Between the chain port and the correction what do you prefer the most and why?
The first bit you show is a correction bit and it is on your bridle backwards. The copper inlay side and curves (Mullen) always go down, tongue side. No embarrassment or disrespect intended. Delete the comment and re-rig your bridle. I bet it suddenly becomes one of your favorite bits.
You’re absolutely right. I don’t ride it very often. Thanks for reaching out.
I started using a medium port correction bit several years ago. It helps lift their frontend to help my horse get their butt under them because I heel. My palomino is really soft so the shanks on her bit are about half the length of the ones you showed.
Oh very good!
Wat is a good heading it
?
@@BarrettHouser he wants to know what is a good heading bit
Had issues with the aerosol version of that brand of fly spray, frustrating!
I bye the big bottle of fly spry at nrs and bye my own spray bottle because that always happens to me lol
Exactly
What are the dimensions of your arena ? Keep up the great work! Enjoy your videos
Thank you so much. It’s roughly 75 feet x 120 feet
@@BarrettHouser thank you!
I use those zep sprayers from home Depot and buy fly spray in bulk
That’s a good idea
Excúseme what do you think about the petzka bit when it port is broken it’s a spenseve bit that hapen
Never used it but petska bits are well made.
How is your puppy doing??
She’s doing amazing! Coming along naturally!
I use a smooth one by one and a smooth one by two bit by Walt Woodard
Nice! I’ve heard good things about them.
@@BarrettHouser I love them
Thanks
@@BarrettHouser ur welcome. U can go to mrsworld.com to order them
Thank you!
Can you do more videos on like the team riping
For sure!
What cameras do you use when riding?
GoPro or my phone
@@BarrettHouser Thank you sir
Are yall gonna make that arena a roping pen
No. It’s too narrow
Your favorite bit that you use on Blue looks to be a Dutton bit made by Greg Dutton. Great bits and affordable 👍
Thanks for letting me know!
Another beginner jabbering about stuff he doesn’t know. He has his correction bit hung backwards.
I’m confused as to why western riders lean towards such strong bits. No hate I’m just like confused
Bits are only harmful if you make them. Know how to use them correctly and they can be super soft for the horse.
Well yes, but some bits are undeniable harsher than others and I’m wondering why people lean towards those.
Agreed love the product, the bottles suck
Same!
Fly spray literally only lasts a day tbh 😭😭
