    I agree about the really soft shoes making my feet tired. However, I have found the same thing with being on my feet all day. As a nurse, I also like something with a cushioned, but somewhat stable, platform. The past couple of years, I've used the Torin 5 and the More v3 as work shoes.

      I wear the nimbus 25s for my 12 hour shifts at the hospital but I think I'm gonna venture into cushioned stability shoes like the kayano 30

      Solid suggestions. I think I prefer a very soft shoe for walking around vs. something firmer, but definitely a matter of preference.

    I tried on just about every shoe my running store carries. I finally settled on these, happily. Talk about comfy!! They are the most cushioned tennis shoe on the market. If you have joint issues or need cushion....these are the shoes for you. I'm excited to take them on a 5 mile walk soon! 😊

    I love all the 1080's , had 4 pairs of various models . So comfy but only good for middle distance ( say 5 to 8 miles) . Beyond that and they let the ground beat your feet . For reference I'm 5"9 and 13½ stone

    I bought 1080v13 in wide. They are definitely cushioned, but I was pleasantly surprised how they handled doing strides in them. I haven’t taken them on a super long run yet, but plan to.

    I totally agree w/ this review (after 75km run). I got a half size up and tendency to roll out even when brisk walking is noticeable.

    I'm that weirdo who does speed work and easy runs in my More v4 but I'm also mainly a mid/back of the pack trail racer so I'm not going for crazy paces 😅 Good review on the 1080! I could use a new pair of walking shoes.

    It's in my rotation & the shoe is made for long runs, for the runner with very stable mechanics not seeking much if any bounce (energy return), in a plush fitting. In my core racing days 20 years ago for 5K, 10K & even HM races we wore traditional flats, NB RC 150 or today something like the Adidas Adizero Adios 4. This 1080v13 translates for that person, the minimalist seeking a similar experience of your natural gait for long runs (which for me is 10-11 miles). Now I'm old school, I don't wear carbon or anything that's going to significantly propel my lift off. Having said this, the 1080 v13 is overpriced for what it is and the forefoot tread wears quickly.

    0:34 I think it's safe to say that you're a fanboy for the 1080 series and you also like the More v4 🙂.

    Tried them and returned them. I’m a faster college runner and initially got them bc I wanted an invincible feel. My feet were sore, was working too hard to run my “easy-moderate” pace. After 6-7 miles, it’s too soft for anything longer

      I have not, but I might be trying the Vomero soon, depending on how Nike renames the Invincible.

    They have more cushion, more bounce and more stack height than the more v4. That being said, it's a max cushion shoe not intended to pick up the Pace.

    1:15 doesn't the 1080 have a thicker sole than the more v4? At least I'm Googling it here while watching the video and the 1080 is thicker.

    • @FreshBrewRunClub
      @FreshBrewRunClub 3 месяца назад

      It's hard to tell without sawing them in half - the More V4 midsole comes up over the foot a bit, so you are probably on to something.

    • @FreshBrewRunClub
      @FreshBrewRunClub 3 месяца назад

      As of now, I don’t think so. Although I think the 880 might be what I wanted in the 1080. I might pick them up if I see a great deal

    • @hum-dinger2453

      @@FreshBrewRunClub went on my second run with them today and I think I made the right choice going with the 880s over the 1080s ( not that I won't grab them at some point) I have 3 max cush shoes right now ( ghost Max/ More V4s/ Nimbus 25s) so I wanted to get a firmer shoe and the 880s are pretty sweet.
      I will hold off getting another max cush shoe till the MoreV5s come out. Just worried that the 1080 is too soft for my big frame

  • @HS99876
