I totally have this problem still to this day. Raised catholic too and in a very controlled environment growing up like everything made me guilty. The only thing left is sex for me . And it's just annoying now. Guys are completely obsessed with woman's sex origins yet they do humiliate women and put self doubt in society about women that's kinda hypocritical.
I’m not a girl I am a guy but, I relate to this video. Sex and masturbation was never talked about in my family but when I was young I remember my cousin told me masturbation is bad and to never do it. This was when I was like 11 or 12 and I am now 22. I have always believed that it was bad and held onto this guilt and I am trying to change my mindset.
I love that you brought up hygiene and how there's nonsense surrounding what products are "necessary " .
Preaching to the choir here Venus! As a sex therapist I've worked with so many women that feel masturbation and sexual exploration in general are all taboo and they shouldn't do it.
i also came from christian background and needed to review the necessity of sensuality and how to train myself in sexuality etc. agreed it is religion is obscure

It's interesting because all the videos and articles on shame and guilt for being sexual are focused on women. When I look I can't find anything.
